I mean the cliffhanger is possibly obvious, because we see a Hollow Knight-ish figure, which might mean that the infection actually *disappeared* forever and since yeah the Hollow Knight isn't sealed anymore because the egg was open, so he (they?) probably got out and then Hornet saw him (them?) and then they got into a fight n stuff (or didn't idk) And the ending where you don't have the void heart and kill THK is a neutral ending so- Sealed Siblings is the worst one because once the infection gets out of the Knight, which will probably happen really soon due to the fact that even the void isn't completely hollow, and the Knight is even less hollow than THK himself (themselves?) there will be no one to save Hallownest again because Hornet is INSIDE the egg, and she's the new seal/dreamer. So the Knight will have no surpassers (?) and they'll rot inside the egg, which would lead to the end of Hallownest because the infection will control them even more.

@@aphidistaste I don't think you can say the implications of any of these endings are obvious. The lore isn't concrete enough for example white lady's dialogue states that you're hollow or more hollow than THK and you can contain the radiance. Meanwhile being left in the abyss by the pale king suggest you're less hollow than THK. The whole idea of being able to contain the radiance and being hollow is ambiguous and subjective by itself. Then you have to consider even the divine beings in HK provide conflicting information.

@@joshuam7749 I thought that the knight was fully hollow since they left hallownest and lost their mind/emotions. Even hornet says something along the lines of the knight bring hollow because of that after the birthplace cutscene(idk i could be misremembering because its like 2 am and im half asleep)

@@adventurousgamer-gametipst9860 I don't really remember, but I think that happened. White lady also has some dialogue that claims your hollow. So maybe you are. I like the idea that the knight is hollow until godhome. It gives more meaning to "void given focus", but I wouldn't be surprised if both hornet and white lady were wrong.

It has massive lore implications though. In silksong, hornet would be trapped until the seal breaks, which results in death.

Yep, this game is honestly one of the best I have honestly played.

That's why it's the worst ending - it's impossible to kill Hornet when she's inside the egg, so if the infection breaks out from the Knight (which is possible to happen really fast due to them having both a mind, and a will. Even with the voidheart, it'd still break out because even the Void has a will.) then Hallownest will probably fall and the kingdom will die, because everyone will be infected probably. Even Hornet - when you see her outside the temple it's mentioned that once she ends up there for a long time, the veins (?) there will drain out her power, which in this case would lead to her also getting infected.

Doesn't she say that staying too long inside the black egg will kill her? Meaning that she will die and the seal would break? Or if she actually isn't affected by the black egg she could just,yknow,kill herself?

@@aphidistaste “Don’t be surprised. I’ll not risk my own life in your attempt”. It’s pretty clear that she would die if she stays there too long. It’s just as bad as The Hollow Knight ending, but hornet dies as well

@@AshenDust_ The original knight that sealed the radiance was flawed, and he couldn't hold the infection as well as the pale king thought he could. That's where the new hollow knight comes in with the void heart, and he's perfect for the job. He can hold the radiance indefinitely

That's not the knight, that the shade lord, the void Is the best ending because to much light is bad (radiance) and to much darkness is bad( shade lord)

@@maurothetoad The shade Lord is the knight. During the fight with the absolute radiance, the knight breaks their shell and falls into the void, only to immediately be replaced by the shade Lord, which you control while it's attacking the absolute radiance. Even if you don't think the knight is the shade lord, godhome was still erased with the knight inside, so they're definitely gone. Also, I wasn't saying that it was the best because of the knight's erasure, I was saying that, while this is one of the best endings, it comes at the cost of the knight's existence.

@@maurothetoad There are several lines of dialogue and items descriptions that hint at the shade lord and the knight being the same being under different forms, apart from the fact that no vessels are seen while the knight goes up to kill the radiance. If the knight and tha shade lord are the same being, it is not too far fetched to assume that they have the same behavior, which would mean the embrace the void ending (the one where the shade lord doesn't dies) is the best ending, since neither the ghost, Hornet, or any other important charachters dies.

@@Frytoons honestly i was gonna say something in the lines of "Pathetic, im over 150 hours in!" But im pretty sure 332 hours is much more that 150... Anyways, try finishing 1-4 pantheons, beating every boss, beating every colleseum, Get 2400 essence and go back to seer.

I tried radiance but I just couldn’t until a couple days later

I shudder to think how powerful the beings are that cultivated that flower, if their plants alone can dispel the being that tore the radiance apart

Lol it's the same thing for me, so much so that I just arrived in the city of tears and I missed the hornet cutscene because my laptop is not so good, it's sad but at least I'm able to play, and I can see everything in this video so I guess it's not that bad.

The seal can easily be broken from the inside. When the radiance died, the hollow knight was free and broke his chains

@@comicsans2419 the chains of the Hollow Knight seem to react to the presence of the Radiance, this can be seen in The Hollow Knight/Sealed Siblings endings as the chains only activate when the Knight has sealed the Radiance. Since the Radiance is dead in the Embrace the Void endings, the chains seem to have deactivated, freeing the Hollow Knight.

@@spaghettiman512 set the resolution to 1280x720 and turn on the frame limit option (or whatever it is cuz o forgot the name) and it should be good. Tell me if you still have trouble (beat the hollow knight so you can test)

You need the void heart, which is obtained after the birthplace cutscene which only activates once you have the king's soul. Each half of the king soul is in a different location (one is given by the white lady, which can be found after you obtain both the shade cloak and isma's tear ; the other is found on PK's corpse, in the white palace, which is only accessible after you obtain the awakened dream nail, which in itself recquires 1800 dream essence) Once you have the void heart you just go to the temple of the black egg, fight the hollow knight, and when hornets binds him you use the dream nail on him.

You can get more than one ending on a save. Just click back into it. It's possible to get all endings on 1 save.

@@teldd1194 You don't really need Isma's Tear to get into White Lady's location (Not giving the area name so I don't spoil), you can crystal dash on the edge and you'll still get there, but with Isma's tear it's easier
