This was truly a spectacular moment in gaming. Nothing but silence, climbing against the raining of your fallen brothers and sisters, the white king monologuing about the deplorable lengths he went to for his goals, the solumn violin against the choir, chills every single time

I just realized... They got here so long ago that dark bramble was still whole. If you look at specific slides you can see it before the seed ripped it apart. This is incredible considering that the nomai got here after this event. Just shows how old the owlk really are and how long they have been trapped in a simulation

I literally just beat the hollow knight and went to grab the void heart afterwards... should've done it the other way around. This is one of, if not, the best game I've ever played (Edit: nvm that, been crying for 10 minutes now. Damn this song hits hard)

For me the unused dialogues are canon, the hollow knight shouldn't have a mind to think, but the fact that he has dream nail dialogues just makes sense about how he failed with his mission, and pure vessel just keep telling us that he is going to fail from the beginning against radiance

this sounds like a mixture of Shadow of The Colossus with Pirates of the Caribbean (the sad or sorrowful tracks, ofc)

I feel like this is probably one of the earliest pieces written for HK. It just simply isn't as good as the others in my opinion. The rest of the soundtrack is a masterpiece - some of my favorite music in the world! This, honestly just sounds like an amateur made it. What do you think?

I still remember getting to that bench after dying 4 times to random objects or enemies, on two masks, was soo happy, i thoight it was just a dead bug on the bench that we have to hit so it falls to the ground and we can sit......... That is when I realised why Metroidvania is a hard genre
