It probably won't, hold your expectations. You played HK probably blind and with zero expectations out of it and was surprised. But with silksong, you're expecting it to be good and in this case, to make you feel like you did when you were surprised that HK was actually amazing. So don't get your hopes up, Silksong wont fill the void Hollow Knight left in our chests. It will leave a new void tho, hopefully lol

They have delayed Silksong more times I can count so it means they might have something good their working on (just wait)

One would be wise to cower away from the void, given the influence the void had on the Royal Retainers in the Ancient Basin(They dead) and the aristocratic husk in the queen's Gardens that holds the love key(He also dead)

I also would like to say that the void even attacks its own kind, as the knight is attacked by the siblings and the void tendrils.

@@necroarcanistxiii The Path of Pain was where I really started noticing the motif. That tough as nails platforming area with this serene music left a permanent impression. And when I fought the Hollow Knight and heard that same leitmotif... That's a moment I won't soon forget.

I agree, this and the one with the light coming from above really fit the games aesthetic, this one because of the general theme and the other one due to the ending(s).

Not necessarilly, the true ending after you destroy radiance it's sad but if you think about it... its for a greater good, no one will be controlled by radiance, no more infection, no more vessels, no more... Hollow Knights.

If you want to fight for happy true ending you can try to reach "Embrace the Void" ending))

@@LunarEdge Yes but there is one thing no one notices about that ending. Yes you've beaten the radiance but you have let another dangerous thing out. The Void. Void is not a good thing either. In the ending you can see the void going out from the black egg. Now all those poor souls have to deal with Void which might have even be the reason the Pale king was found dead. There is clearly void particuls in the room. None of them is a good ending. Kingdom is doomed. No one can save it.

@@metemete9859 in one of the endings you can see the siblings being put to rest, I’d assume the void stays in the abyss too and the particles in the park kings throne room are just particles, they aren’t void.

I've just spent about 15 hrs in the game, and just can't get enough. really trying to avoid any spoiler contents though, I really want to experience it myself.
