That purple set is REALLY nice, I just wish the interiors were consistently colored. Which means I'll probably buy a set anyway lol

I kind of like the brass look under the d20, I just wish it was ALL that, on all the dice. But either way, yeah I like the purple a lot haha

I prefer the regular metal dice over the others as well. I wouldn’t mind the glow in the dark set either. The texture made it look more like it was made of bone.

The actual metal set is definitely my favourite of these. There's something about cool metal and vibrant red that just works. Might have to get a set for myself. The mindflayer is my all time favourite D&D monster, after all.

that purple colour gives me life. If I had the money to spent on dice, man. I'm loving the new trend of these awesome hollow metals. Must be some kind of really fine casting, so it's not super surprising that companies are doing worse than independent artists. Companies usually cut corners on quality when it comes to casting

I have a set of the glow in the dark white, While I love the look of them and the quality is exactly what I hoped and had payed for, I will warn potential buyers that In my experience the Weight of them were a bit odd and rolling them feels inconsistent considering the details and design

Ok so I've owned and used the purple set for a few months now and the purple paint has started to chip on the d4 and honestly it still looks pretty cool as a result because of the brass beneath it. Figured I'd put my experience here for anyone wondering what long-ish term use might look like

Interesting. If I were to pick, my favorite would probably be the purple ones. Kinda disappointed in the glow ones tho. They could have beed so much better done.

I got into dice making so that I wouldnt be buying more dice....but these look so awesome....must resist.... i like them all but the white ones, and the plain metal seem better compared to the purple/green, but i think its just because the different tones on the metal give them more depth

Idea: I think it could be fun to see you try to conquer not using a pressure pot for your dice making, (I know you keep saying you don’t necessarily need one I thought it would just be fun to see how you would do it) with minimal amount of bubbles or no bubbles at all! ^^ thought that could be a nice challenge! Also sorry for the terrible grammar and spelling I am dyslexic.

I honestly think the basic ones are the best looking, I dig the green and purple, but I like the details more than just a plain coat of paint.

Absolutely! Once it gets too complicated, you start to lose some of the charm of the simplicity of dice. That being said I love the tiny suction cup details :D

Hey Rybonator, I've just encountered the process of shrinking and expanding molds using mineral spirits or NOVOCS silicone solvent (to shrink mix equal parts mineral spirits and silicone then make your mould, remove object and then leave to settle for a few days(?), to temporarily enlarge soak existing mold in mineral spirits for a couple days). Have you ever tried this for dice?

I have yet to see 3D printed metal dice come out looking as smooth as these do. I don't doubt you! But I rarely see the smoothness of form from 3d printed metal.

From a dice maker obsessed with maths point of view, that 'easily gets cocked on a felt surface' is going to directly translate into a bias - I find it pretty likely that if you roll it 500 times, you'll get significantly less 20s than you should (as on the hard surface it will be more likely to 'roll off' the 1 face due to this)... Could you test? I hope they can fix it!

I have four of the metal sets and in my experience they tend to have a bias towards higher rolls. They are my GM dice so my players will learn to fear them.

Thanks a lot for great review and the new names for them are really interesting and fit them. As for the glow green in the dark dice, we are improving them. If we call it glow green dice, they should be expected to glow much longer and brigher:D
