I'm learning, performing and uploading song requests every day in December 2017 for donations to York Mind, a mental health charity in York providing essential support to people having a tough time of it.
Today on the Jukebox is the rather sad tale of Lucy Jordan. I've gone from the version sung by Marianne Faithfull (but I know a bunch of others have done versions too!). It's for the awesome Ian and Marianne, and I really hope that you like my version (and that you're not too immobilised by the snow today!). Thank you for donating and thank you for your support x

You have really acomplished an excellent job in covering this song. Off the subject here but I was admiring that hanging piece with fringe (not sure what you call it) but it is beautiful! Can you please tell me a little more about it and where you found it,? How large is it and what did you use to hang it? One large nail or several large nails in each corner? Thank you. P.S. Any chance you vou could cover some other songs that Marianne Faithful sang, like "This Little Bird." Song from about the mid-1960's.

Nice emotionnal cover. I'm always wondering who Lucy Jordan is. What happened to her in the end of the song as I'm non native speaking english. I guess a sad end!!?

Ocean_Eagle Her dream came true in the end that she longed for so long. When she was taken to an asylum in a white van. I think Lucy Jordan is most of the Middle Aged women in this world.
