We took a trip to Miami for the first PTO T100 event of the year. It was hot, humid and the racing was intense. Holly came away with her first podium in the PTO series and a great start to the 2024 season.

Congratulations with the podium finish on what seemed to be a killer of a race. I really enjoyed watching every moment of it - well not so much the lack of audio on RU-vid live stream during most of the bike part of the race - and I think the T100 is a great audience format with better coverage of the athletes as well as better on-screen data. Not perfect but much better than what we are used to. I already look forward to the next race and hope you have great recovery and training in the mean time. Nice to see three Brits on the podium too 😊
Great race! I'm only just getting caught up on the race results now, but looks like it was a tough race so I'm glad you could pull through it and have a good race.
I agree - you have always been at the pointy end of the race or thereabouts. Think the commentators made too much of suggesting that this was your first good race in years! Not true! Well done!
Congrats Holly on the podium! Tri v. Swim suit which is faster? I recall the previous aero test, tri suit was faster. What went into racing in the swim suit? Great job!🎉
The tri suit was faster than the swim suit in testing, primarily due to the arms/sleeves. The legs of the tri suit should't make as much difference areo wise, or so i've been told, since they are moving. I prefer to race with less on my legs, it feels better for me. Zoot was great enough to make this new suit for me.
There’s always going to be kinks to work out - and it’s down to us as athletes to voice our opinions and work with the organisation to improve the races for the future!
