Hollyhock Flower Garden
This flower makes me feel like I garden in a fairytale . Hollyhock is majestic and towers over me. The main stem is loaded with large flowers and can get over 7 feet tall. I cant tell you how happy I get just looking at my Hollyhock flowers. They are super easy to start from seed but take a while from seed to flower because its a biennial plant. I find they take around 5-6 months to start blooming. It is well worth the wait. They are biennial so they live much longer than annuals. If you are in garden zones that have very hot summers, its best to sow seeds in September so they grow during the coolest part of the year. Bees also love the pollen rich flowers.
