Good question! The tokens are used by the Director. For their job the Director can give a token to any player (can't give to the same person twice in a row). That token can be spent to add an additional card into the movie (even if the person does not have a star showing). In this particular game I never used the Director job so they didn't come into play. And you're welcome! We have really enjoyed making solo versions for our last couple games and we plan to continue doing so.

It's actually fairly similar to what you see here except that there is 1 communist player and 1 patriot player. You also remove the “Monster” and “Horror” genres from the game and the 6 non-Shake Up double communist cards from the deck so that the deck isn't stacked in favor of one player (usually there are more communist cards in the deck). In 2-player games if a round ends in a tie the round counts as a victory for both players. Both players are trying to win 4 rounds. If both players reach 4 victories simultaneously the game ends in a tie.

Also forgot to mention that this game is very unique and lots of fun! Been trying to learn how to play and it’s been great!

Thanks so much, glad you are enjoying the game! The ghosts can not be given new cards with roles such as the actor/actress. Congressional Hearing cards DO re-roll all dice including the ghost dice and your dice. Yes, you can re-roll your own dice as a turn. Let me know if there are any other questions!

@@Facade_GamesAwesome thank you! One more question do you have to play 2 turns, like if you’ve already played one turn but you don’t want to play your second because you feel good where you’re at, do you have to play both?

@@Facade_GamesSay that this round is supposed to have three cards total, When you are the composer and you draw Two then discard one and one in the movie, now there’s four cards in the movie, does that card you put in the movie stay there for the whole round or do you still shuffle the movie deck and discard one until there’s three cards, or keep all four in the movie

Thanks! Actually, you do not automatically re-roll your own dice each round (you do however re-roll ghost dice each round). Your own dice are only automatically re-rolled if a double Patriot / Congressional Hearing card shows up in the movie.
