@@justsomepunk8408 were you there? I was SHOCKED how they cut down all the laughter from us!!! it was LOUD and the whole show was hilarious! They took out literally ALL of our laughter and crowd reaction for this video. I was actually thinking "what happened to all the crowd noise?!" But they ran the sound through a sound board so I think they just used that and the only laughter/reaction you hear is what got picked up thru the mics. TRUST me, WE WERE LOUD.

@@NiteMareBliss oh okay my guess is since it's a new venue they haven't put mics in the proper places to compensate for the acoustics

@@justsomepunk8408 they said they were literally working until right when the show started to get it ready…I’m sure it’ll get better every time. I am planning on going to as many as they do there in the future. They actually also cut a LOT out for this upload…seeing it live I feel like we got to see an extra 20-30 mins of pre-show chat and silliness that was imho the best part but isn’t here.

@@thefiyahrises225 I was under the mistaken impression the audience was dead. But apparently it's the acoustics at the new venue they haven't set up enough mics for yet.

Yeah the crowd actually had pretty good reactions but it was in a movie theater so yeah acoustics made it sound a bit different on here.

@@AntiCurrent Another thought. Pan-tilt-zoom cameras for infrastructure cams can provide you options and centralized control (multiple to cover closeups, wide angle, and 1-2 for crowd reactions. The different sources could be edited together for a polished release, upping production value without minimizing additional labor. Higher production value offered by theatre infrastructure has the possibility of increasing the attraction of other talent wanting to use the venue, and the resulting increase in ticket sales while controlling variable costs by baking expense into one-time, fixed, infrastructure cost (I wonder if there are tax credits for property improvement in that jurisdiction). Agree, the audience interaction and laughter helps the experience. Audio limiting is troublesome.

No. I was there. They definitely reduced the background noise while editing.

@@joemal55 i was there as well and 100% correct! we were loud!!! i was shocked how much of the crowd laughter was gone in this upload.

Ralph claimed that not being able to do it live "cheats the audience" but in reality he doesn't want to do zoom shows since he doesn't get paid for them.

@@pcf9909 They did a few home shows and decided to instead do the commentary because the format of the show wasn't fun for him to do without the way audience interactions which is the thing keeping the show being fresh after so many years doing the same thing. Why do the commentary episodes if the problem was payment when they knew less people would be interested in those? Because it was more fun for them offline. And if it really is a money thing, they could have made it like edumacation and had it behind a paywall.

@@dcworld4349 I saw the home show where he claimed this. Its BS. He just didn't want to do it for free since he's already getting paid for his podcast and it would cut into his material and prep time. I cant blame him but at least be honest about it.

There was another show they did in September that wasnt released for some reason.
