Wow, that interior of the delorean is rough. It's looks like someone decorated it based off a 5 year olds drawing of what it is supposed to look like 🤣
Mr.bob those lights on the RoboCop Taurus are called cornering lights they come on when you turn the blinker on so you can see easier to make lefts and rights around dark corners I was an option on Tauruses mostly LX has came with some Taurus LX is the top-of-the-line maybe some SHO 🇱🇷
*WOW* !!!! Thanks for the GREAT video!!! I didn't realize Vegas has a FAB Car Museum!!! I like Herbie's Love Bug, The General Lee, The A Team Van and all of the Bond vehicles!!! Surprised at these cool cars!!!!!! Especially like the back story on the Lotus submarine!!! #VideoBobMoseley
That was worth seeing. That Hardcastle and McCormick car was my favorite thing to see. Sorry you had to lay your eyes on that time machine. It looked homemade, not professional done. But the man is a legend so I will forgive it.
Hi Bob, the 8lug A-team van was used in the Universal Hollywood Stunt show, it may have been used in the TV show but think it was just built for the stunt show. Check out the book StarCars by Beki Adam. Some of the cars and most of the James Bond stuff came from The Cars of the Stars museum in originally owned by Peter Nelson in Keswick Britain. Dezer Miami have the screen used second unit van.
It would be nice if somebody did a up close and personal on liberace's cars like a real detailed look at him and stuff starting up and stuff that would be cool but I don't think they ever will. all they do is show him and that's it
I know the guy who originally painted that Red, White, and Blue Liberace Rolls Royce. A gentleman in West Virginia named David Mega. He's an old family friend. I've got vintage prints of some of his earlier work. Very interesting person. Rediculously talented in both painting cars and painting canvas. Last time I visited him was back in 2003 tho. He and his Wife Sherri were great hosts.
Out of all the replica cars I've ever seen ever made I never see Greased Lightning from Grease the movie...thought that was an awesome car with the plexiglass hood ....
I work for a big boat building company here in Florida, ,,when I see something easily made from fiberglass and turned into a mold..,,,it drives me crazy $$$$$
You are a good man. It must have been really hard not to unload on those awful replica KITT and Back To The Future cars. As a paying customer I would have felt cheated even though there are some authentic movie and tv cars in that museum. Sorry, but the DeLorean time machine and Pontiac KITT car are both probably the most iconic Hollywood cars out there.
The original submarine Lotus was bought at a storage unit auction for a low price of $1,000 or something then later sold to Elon Musk for 1 million. I wonder if that's the same one or a replica someone made.
This would be really cool if you're a little kid, but the cars are all so wildly inaccurate. This was common pre-internet when you just had VHS tapes for reference material, but there's no excuse now.
Need to hit up the Volo auto museum next time you come through Illinois. Most of they're movie cars are replicas too but way away better quality than this stuff😅
If you are talking about the Coyote, yes, the second version of the car was made out of a Delorean. GO look it up on wikipedia or where ever. The actors could not get in and out of the other car easily so they used a Delorean to use the doors.
Respectfully, no. Look at the show. Most of the shots of the car showed an obvious kit-car with a big floppy fiberglass body. I also doubt that Cannell wouldve gone to the expense of developing a hero ride from a near-new high end car like that. DeLoreans were really heavy and wouldn't've carried the role easily. And since when is Wikipedia a dependable source for movie car info?
@@rickr442 I have these stupid arguments with know it all's like you all the time who swear they know what they are talking about because they used to watch the show 30 years ago. All you have to do is a tiny bit of research and go to the wikipedia page and it says right there, "For the second and third seasons, producers used a different Coyote which was based on a DMC DeLorean, as Brian Keith had difficulty getting in and out of the original Coyote" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardcastle_and_McCormick
