The green suit from the film The Birds was of a material that could be easily snagged so when the birds would attack you could see the suit coming apart at the seams.

Hello boys and girls, just some information on the white gown Miss Kelly wore in TO CATCH A THIEF, MR HITCHCOCK told MISS HEAD that he wanted MISS KELLY To wear a diamond necklace in the 2 scenes in the movie so he told MISS HEAD to design a dress 👗 that would not overpower the necklace and the necklace would not overpower the dress, and she pulled it off beautifully.

I don't know how these curators at the V&A get their jobs because they can't articulate or present. I think in the museological world, it's a nepotistic world where these women get their jobs through family connections. Or they marry into it. Try and get a job in a museum!! I find they don't really understand clothing by the very obvious things they say. She also doesn't critique, which should be the role of a public intellectual which is what a curator should be. Gay men can do a far superior job in this domain and yet the female-centric hetero-dominant world of museums and galleries knows that, and keeps them often at bay, jealously. As Camille Paglia says: "you would learn more about fashion and costume by chatting with a local drag queen at her Pfaff sewing machine on a Saturday afternoon!" This curator hesitates, repeats herself and is disjointed where there should be an arc or a narrative. She says " Back to Miss Head" every two minutes. She also isn't funny. When giving a speech for an institution like the V&A it's important to "reach for the marble" : to be oratorial, and to inspire. "I reached a point in my career," she quips ---- except we don't care about your "career"!! This curatrix is about as exciting to listen to as a washing machine on rinse cycle!

I think you are right. Alas, this is not a curator but a costume designer.
