I have one other episode from the second week. I do not have any more other than those two. I don't have the finale, and I don't know who won the Jeep. To answer some questions, I have some original airings here and there; some done occasionally. I plan to do some more here and there for a while since I probably can't/won't do the other popular series that tapes in the same studio.
I am curious, I know that Tom did say during the entire tournament that the champion COULD win the Jeep, but I also know that him saying that was basically (for lack of a better way to put it, a cover-up. because I believe they did indeed play the bonus round on the friday show, because I know that he did automatically win the Jeep. BUT it was done just to have some fun, and i guess to make it a little bit easier to believe in a sense, if that is true, how did they reveal it? I assume they could not remove the clock (because since these were college kids, they would very likely have been able to figure out what was about to happen, but give the player the square for every square regardless, or just play it like normal, BUT when the time came to take away the bad keys, did they not only remove the number of keys = to the # of right answers given, but also however many other bad keys were left.)
Not only did George lopez appear on the show in the college tourtnament but he also appeared on the show in the mothers day week with Wayne brady Doris Roberts and center square Ellen degeneress along with their mother's.
no Simon Cowell doing this show isn't odd, don't forget American Idol was super popular at the time and he was the one staff member on the show EVERYONE talked about...sometimes remembering the 2000s can be a drag 2:31 yeah dated joke there for those that are not old enough to remember when she was married to Nic Cage for 108 days (that's longer than Kim Kardashian's marriage to Kris Humphries)
I totally forgot Baba Booey was on Squares. It's a shame we never got a full Howard Stern lineup week. That would been a total disaster, but lots of fun.
