What is the dust it and fix it spray for?

@@emmanebony dust it is a matte powder for volume n texture notice she applies a tiny bit at roots. Spray is Strong hold finishing Spray. Fix is a professional quick-drying strong hold spray, which: holds but also brushes out easily. It’s setting spray.

@@lasenoritacometa1977 I wondered as well my hair is pretty wavy naturally and holds curl till I wash it out and still have some left...I can literally curl my hair with my fingers... but if I straighten it first .... ugh no waaaaay. It won't do anything but stay straight until I get humidity. I have a Bob rn I cut my hair myself. And I have to blow dry straight then straighten with iron to get it smooth and super straight. It's a lot of work. But wow this is far worse. The grabbing at the root bothered me as well. As Client I'd be pissed my hair was being pulled as well as damaging from grabbing with the iron pulling strands. I'm not understanding that technique and I did take a first class for cosmetology. (Dropped out bc my teacher was super snooty if you weren't in the clique she hated you) but I did take the first half of the courses Btw I'm not saying by any means this isn't amazing work or that I could do better... I'm just wondering why the pulling and straightening. Everyone has their own techniques.

@@Lia-ij4mg when I explained this old Hollywood big waves, it came out completely different. My hair still came out beautiful, just not as voluminous. It's hard to explain this exact look without a picture. Back then, I couldn't find a picture like this.

Exactly. The amount of heat was excessive.

Someone else said she used very low, controlled heat with the straightener and curling iron. Idk if that helps or makes a difference lol

my hair is straight and hardly shaped and even I don't apply too much heat on my hair because it immediately ruins it. actually it's been a year without shaping my hair like that. it's not really worth the effort & time.

If you use to much spry it gonna be like that

For you to be able to use heat on a mannequin they have to use one with real hair or it would melt. Just an FYI.

I mean the hair is real on the mannequin but it is different to do hair on an actual person in terms of hiw it may end up looking on the person since faceshapes and what not play a role in how "good" the style looks on different people

keymeko95 Also, the hair on a real person has a living persons oils on it as well. The hair IS different because of that. Also, people are living their electrical field, aura and magnetic qualities also affect the hair too. Vast difference. Beautiful hairstyle.

I agree, I was hoping to try this hairstyle out on myself but my hair is a few inches away from my elbows and I just don’t have the patience.

There are other tutorials I would suggest watching on this hairstyle. Not as time consuming, it might work for you

My guess would be that the powder is a texturizing powder, it's usually used for volume!

I'm not 100% certain but the powder looks like SexyHair Powder Play

SCHWARZKOPF - OSIS pretty sure about that one for the powder.

Be sure to stimulate your scalp gently when you brush your hair. It will encourage new hair growth and prevent product build up on your scalp. When new clients with damaged, color treated hair would come to me these were some of the things their hair dressers didn’t know to tell them. I studied hair loss because it was a problem I suffered from. I still fight it but now my hair is down to my waist even though it is very light blonde. I also wrap it into a bun every night with screw pins. They don’t leave dents in the hair like regular hair pins and your hair has a beautiful wave the next day with no heat. Hope this helps you. Twist it when is goes round the bottom as this gets the finger waves, that's what these are called( very popular in 1920s), I did this alot last year when I did my first year in hairdressing level 2

Выпрямить для блеска, гофре у корней для объёма и чтобы начёс плотненький был при минимуме манипуляций, только вот на выпрямленном утюжком волосе плохо, от слова очень, держатся волны. На учебной голове держится абсолютно всё, за счёт объёма, толщины и особой обработки волоса, а вот в реале всё очень грустно выглядеть будет.
