I've watched countless hair tutorials in the last 15 years or so, but yours are just of UNPARALLELED QUALITY. I don't think I've ever watched a professional working until I saw your videos. Super impressed!
This styling looks amazing. Not all hairdressers know how to create this look. I asked for something similar once to attend a wedding and I got more like messy curls, not sculpted together in waves like this. This looks beautiful and elegant, nice work 😍
hair salon hairdressers dont generally know how to do these styles at all.. They're good at their cuts, colours and blow waves.. You need a specific hairstylist or freelance one to obtain this look

why is the mannequin so hot?! i really love the second song, i think it is. do not like the third, i think it is. i will be trying this on Ms. Manne Quinn when i get back to beauty school
It would help more if you said what tools and supplies you are using. My friend tried following your previous video and she couldn't recreate the look. Are you using a crimper? And what is the powder you used?
Mannequin hair is sooooo much different than real hair. The texture is totally different. It holds curl better and it's easier to sculpt. If she did this on real hair I'd be more impressed.
I use 32 mm curling iron Dewal RED an curl all the hair to the one side, I try to keep the same distance between roots and first twist on my tool. I use volume powder Next but you can use other one brand. I smooth the top of each strand with spray wax Ollin. My hairspray is one of the cheapest in the market but has the lightest degree of securing. And final secure is always pump spray Schwarzkopf.
First of all I prepare hair: straight them an make crimping 15 cm from the roots. Looks beautiful. However, I personally wouldn't suggest straightening the hair first. Too much heat.. damage. Wait for the second day after a wash with real hair for any type of updo or hairstyle for an event. Natural build-up helps to work with the hair and hold. Less damage, the better
Hello! Thank you for comment! I never work with yesterday day washing hair. I always ask to wash it in the morning in the day of wedding. It’s better to blow dry it. But I am not hair dresser and use straightener. My experience makes me sure there no big difference in the hold between straightened hair and not. But it’s much more beautiful and clean!
I use volume powder Next but you can use other one brand ( amzn.to/3JUhxGX ). I smooth the top of each strand with spray wax Ollin. My hairspray is one of the cheapest in the market but has the lightest degree of securing. And final secure is always pump spray Schwarzkopf ( amzn.to/3JUPp6x )
Yeah pretty much in that order.. flat ironed first after she sectioned it and started to curl she sprinkled on the hair powder( which is used to give the hair texture and volume) then she curled it. Using the hairpins helps the curl to hold its shape better as it cools. Go easy on the hair powder, if one overdoes it, it will leave your hair feeling a mess. I would use it after you add the heat def not before.
What hairspray do you use and do you put it on before everything else? Can you please make another video where you do it on yourself so we can see if it's even possible and how long it will take? What is the point of straightening and crimping if you're curling? Does that not just add extra damage? Also so we see what it will look like on a real person's head of hair not a mannequin with perfect hair.
on my channel there are videos on models) you should open the video tab or watch the Hollywood Wave playlist. I use volume powder Next but you can use other one brand. @@AndreevaNata Thank you for the thorough reply and showing how these drug store products actually work. Sorry I asked so many questions at once. You're very helpful, because I have fallen into the habit of buying expensive hair products and many of them, once I get them and try them, don't even seem to work for my hair. It's defeating when you spend so much money and time trying to find good products. I'm excited to try these since I won't have to spend so much money, maybe I'll actually have time to style my hair now! Thank you!
