Thank God my grandfather already in September of 1937 had the foresight to flee Austria to Romania and in 1940 fled again a 2nd time. My mother was sent to school in Switzerland in October and my aunt who was at medical school and my grandmother fled at the end of February 1938. The Germans and Austrian Nazis took over the country on March 12th, 1938. On July 23rd they came to arrest my grandfather and could not find him at the apartment, his office nor at his warehouse. Subsequently they stole everything.
Amazing how they just turned around from working with Austrians I can see how this obedience to authority is a big part of their DNA. They neutral but imagine if Putin invaded Austria the Russians would be greeted with flowers. Strange people. 8:21
