The national museum Memorial to Holodomor Victims. Though it was opened only eight years ago in Ukraine, it immediately became widely known far beyond the borders of Ukraine. The exhibits in the museum may not show the greatest artistic skills or be a high price tag, but their value exceeds the most expensive things in the world. After all, they represent the most precious thing that can be appreciated in the world - human life.

The terrible truth about which my father, and my grandmothers been told me. My father was 8 years old in 1932. In my father's childhood memory been stuck horrors of the Holodomor were forever left. I will never forgive the communists the genocide of Ukraine and my relatives who died by starvation.

I went to Ukraine in March 2020, but had to leave only a few days after my arrival due to the first Coronavirus closure the nation faced. I was able to see many if the historical sites and museums in Kiev and as a very large history buff, I thouroughly enjoyed the Oleg Antonov aeronautical museum and well as the State Museum of the Great Patriotic War. Where I am from in Western Canada doesn't have any type of military history museums or displays of military vehicles in such abundance. The one place I very much wanted to see was the Holodomor Museum as I have dedicated many years of my still very young life to the study of Ukraine's greatest tragedy. Very sadly when I was there, it was closed for construction and I could only view the above ground tower and the stone monuments near the statue of the emaciated young girl. The statue was truly heart-breaking to see in person. I was sure to leave an offering of bread so that those who died in agony may find even an ounce of peace and know they will never be forgotten. I hope very much to be back one day to see the museum in person!

Stalin was Georgian as Lavrenti Beria, Kaganovitch who organized the Holomodor was Ukrainian as Krutchov half Ukrainian he participated; In many regions of USSS it was Holomodor against the Koulaks as in Khazaktsan 1 1/2 millions deaths This was a bolchevik crime to which you had some important Ukrainian participators. Why always confuse Russia with Ussr. It is just because you are russophobics, Russian people suffered also very much of Bolshevism , of Lenin who had not a any russian blood, of Zinoviev born in Ukraines as Brejnev Why you nerve sat Trotsky was ukrainian , leader of Red Army civilian war 12 million death Why you never say that ukrainian nationalists as Roman Chukheywitch participated to the holocaust by bullets and many West-Ukrainian served in extermination camps as Sobibor Treblinka .
