Chroma Console by Hologram Electronics - just showing how to use it and some sounds I liked. thank you to Hologram Electronics for sending me Chroma Console Get one here: www.hologramelectronics.com/p...
The guitarists who demo these pedals always play horrible stuff through beautiful pedals, you always play beautiful stuff through beautiful pedals. I always check here first.
Of course they sent her one: it's free advertising for them. Companies can just use RU-vidrs to shill a product without having to spend any money on marketing & advertising so they can make themselves more money while maybe the RU-vidr gets a few views out of it.
@@i-never-look-at-replies-lol while the sentiment is correct in this case the demo video they released was already quite good by itself. giving it to youtubers *is* a great way to encourage impulse buys among a community already primed to purchase new and interesting gear
For faster bankruptcy, start with JHS pedal first episode. Turn the YT speed up to 150% as you can eliminate the slight Alabama drawl and get through bankruptcy much faster” By the time you get to the Colorbox 2, you will have enough money to enjoy whats left while having enough left over for food and rent with a special monthly “kitty” to buy your favs from Emily.:)
Some of the sounds you got from your harp running through this pedal were just pure musical bliss. They strongly remind me of some of my favorite bands.
I can't play a single instrument, but I am subscribed and totally amazed by the last twelve months of listening to the incredible sounds that you create Emily. Your music is beautiful, inciteful, and pure magic to listen to. The special people who have appeared and demonstrated their instruments and music are also very unique. Don't stop, music is one of our global languages. Much love and appreciation from an Aussie veteran.
wow, I think Hologram really out did themselves here. I have the Microcosm and absolutely love it, but this seems much more use-able for a band setting where you want to switch through different core tones quickly and the flexibility of the effects (plus stereo + MIDI) is a really good value for players who don't want to lug around 10 or more effects pedals.
the sound at 4:52 is the most beautiful thing i’ve ever heard in my life 🥲🥲🥲 totally obsessed with this thing, i adore the design and it just looks so fun to play with.
Super fun! Been watching you for a year now, seeing you hook up guitar pedals to a harp with pickups never gets old. And bonus, you use them so differently from how a guitar player would it that it is inspirational to me as a guitar player to go outside the small box we guitarists tend to live and create in. Thanks Emily.
So glad yours is the first vid I’ve seen for this one!! What a great device, love the routing options, Hologram always bringing something rad. Amazing sounds, really loved the reverse section.
Really good demo! I love the way you explain it, as if you’re talking to an actual person, not like overtly trying to sell it, super refreshing, huge fan!
Ah! I wondered who would be first to review this pedal. Glad it’s you. I made is only one minute through Hologram’s demo vid before buying it. I’ve been a huge fan of Infinite Jets and Microcosm for a long time. Another winner from Hologram Electronics!
I started playing the harp in May, and your videos have inspired me to run it through effects to make Lo-Fi Hip-Hop accompanied by Welsh poetry 😁 Thank you for being so inspiring, and please keep bringing joy to our lives!
Your smile, makes me feel better every time. I could be having the worst day ever, and I see you happy and everything gets better like instantly. Thought you should know.❤
Wow. Great breakdown of this new pedal. I don’t often get pedals - right now I just have a vintage RAT for distortion, Ditto 4 looper, and an Eventide H9 for multi effects. But damn, the Chroma sounds incredible. Love your reviews, and how you combine musical artistry and technological knowledge. Definitely saving up for a Chroma.
You're a moment of peace for me, in a way. Your voice is soothing, the way you describe everything so well yet straightforward is calming and centering, obviously your beautiful harp skills (diddly bow too😂). Nothings controversial your just you. I look forward to your post for peace, and I dont with any other RU-vidrs... everythings is chaotic and anxiety inducing these days. Thank you 😊
Looks and sound fantastik, and so simple to operate, none of those stupid LED screens to flip through. Retro looking but lots of multi functions, awsome pedal. Thanks great Vid and the link, lots of cool stuff there. Hologram seems like a small company, probably excellent quailty and service. I only see 4 console pedals on the site, you should get them to send you the other 3, would love to hear them applied to your Harp. Such cool sounds love it.
This is a really cool pedal! It almost feels like its pretty easy to understand what everything does! since I'm a nooby to pedals and plugins, it feels almost like you could really learn what the terms mean and how it sounds. Very cool!!!
Wow, wonderful review! As a bassist I wish I had a full reason/excuse to use all the sounds. Cheers and thank you for showing us the very interesting pedal and some wonderful playing.
Hello Emily, I just discovered your channel, and I had to subscribe immediately. You have such a beautiful brain for creating all kinds of sonic goodness. I am very envious of your abilities for exploring combinations of effects to achieve something completely fresh. I come from the keyboard world, and I have always felt that a harp is exactly like playing a vertical piano, but with much more beauty and elegance. I completely love all the toys you have at your disposal to shape and mold whatever audio direction you wish to go. More jealous, I guess. I will keep my eyes and ears open to everything your beautiful brain shares to this world.
I agree, but it also the first video by anyone, other than the original release vid. That said, Emily, you set a very high bar, and everyone else is going to have to bring their best if they want to top this. ;)
That's what I thought too! Except for id rather have a physical pedal. I do have rc20 but nowadays I'm playing more with my hardware with the computer off. so this should scratch that rc20 itch
I relaxed and nearly fell asleep during that last demo piece. That'd normally be a good thing...but my break's almost over and I have to get back to work! 😆
As a layman, sometimes I don't know how to identify differences in sound when you activate some of these gadgets. Half the time I don't know what these devices are or what they're supposed to do. One day I want to be a harpist, but I feel like just past that goal is this glass wall of audio tech and related jargon I have to break through before I can get adventurous with any music I create. You're already where I'd like to be, so I keep watching your videos to try learning what I can from you. Thanks for doing what you do, Emily. Lots of love. ♥
That was sick, You are a badass and the way you demoed this makes we want to put on my next thing to buy list. Those sounds, I think it's you and the harp, but I hope I can get some cool vibes and tones out of my guitar with this pedal, but I think that harp so amazing. I could listen that all day.
Amazing video, I had just seen a video about this pedal on another channel and I immediately wondered how it would sound on a harp, so glad to see this video ❤
