Moved my microcosm from my guitar pedalboard to a mixer aux send not too long ago sitting next to my zen delay on a separate aux. it allows me so much more flexibility as i can now apply it to any of my channels, guitar, my korg esx & emx, etc. my mixer is now another instrument i can play while mixing. Sends come back to their own stereo channels and can then be fed into each other and blended using their return channel sends and individual faders.

Inspiring post my man! Thanks for such a simple breakdown on the Microcosm and Elektron gear. I didn't think to use stored loops on the micro during performance. Thanks for the tip!

Sure wish I could afford Chroma Console. Glad I have Microcosm for now tho. One of the coolest pedals EVER DESIGNED. For the record, I use mine exactly like you are, here. I never make music without it residing in one, or both of my mixers aux's. Generally either stacked before, or after Empress Effects Zoia, or receiving a single mono aux send, each, Microcosm, and Zoia, then each returning to a stereo channel strip, and feedbacking off each other, using the two channel strips send pots. (Microcosm, and Zoia, sending a little bit to each other, creating a low level feedback loop with each other. It gets some really amazing stuff happening, because I also always build stuff in Zoia that makes use of the granular module, and sequencing.)
