Let me know what you think about my POV device.
This is a DIY kit. The library is included for easy programming with a lot of features. Assembly PDF, .stl files, Arduino library, examples, PCB Gerber files, and a guide for creating animations and apps will be included. And please be patient. I work alone on this one.

I want to check out for some creator the chances of design a Holo "fan" based design but with an armiliary design... most ideally with 3 rings... and codding the software so even if the rings move in different directions the emited image/video will keep cohesion (shouldnt be hard if each ring moves with similar RPMs)... I could design the 3d pieces and even consider the cable management however all would be a waste without the capabilities of write the code for the leds.)

Building hardware on this device was more difficult than coding, so many challenges were on the way like resonant frequency, power transmission to the rotating part and even fit everything inside and around. Coding was not as hard because it is a 2 colour device. Color RGB should not be that hard too, I am currently working on that. My recommendation is that you learn how to code, it such a useful thing to know in life (it pays well too) 😉

Is it possible to add rows behind the first one? I think there is a reason to do that.

There are certain problems regarding that, but it is possible to add a few rows but not a lot. I am aiming to make it with RGB and with wifi.

Very cool, will you be selling a kit with everything but the printed parts, since people with printers can just print the parts themselves.

It is an option that I am considering greatly. So that people with 3D printers can buy it for cheaper. Ty for the support btw :D

I have made a custom LED PCB board. I just finished this device's final version, and the files will be available soon. I work so I do not have that much time on my hands to finish this properly. A new, better video of this POV device will be out soon.

This is an old model, I managed to build the latest and probably final version (which can be updated to wifi soon). New assembly and other videos are coming so stay tuned. I got a lot of work to do and it was not an easy project to work on. I am making a BOM list, all files are more or less ready. I will put the link in the description as soon as possible.

What type of part did you use to make the hologram? Not the arduino but the other 2 parts?

Do you mean the two LED boards? If that is what you meant, I custom-made them from 3528 LED diodes. Hologram was 3D printed with PLA plastic. :)

@@s.a0547 I am close to finishing the final version of this device (better in any way than this one on video) so be patient. I am working as fast as I can, parallel with my regular job. All files will be available soon (with assembly video). Subscribe and all will come in time. :)

it will be available soon, I am working on wifi version for more options, and with a browser app for easy control, also faster for more fps and it will be adaptable for RGB later on :D
