I hope most of them are just joking around, since Cristine would be the first to admit that her holo policing is just for laughs. But I can see it getting annoying fast when you have worked so hard to make a cool holo-inspired look. Just know that the true holo fans appreciate art for art!

But it's not just for laughs lol I mean it's just that it can not be holo because holo means the pigment changes color, I guess if you painted every single actual hair with holographic paint it would be holographic, but it would look like absolute shit
JUBEN Of course it can’t be holo, it’s hair. But when she combs it to different sides, it’s reminiscent of the rainbow shift in holo. It’s a brilliant execution of it too. No reason to be annoyed by it since everyone knows it’s not possible, but that this was taken as inspiration from holo. Cristine would probably think it cool. Difference is she’s not marketing something that is fake holo and using it for money, or lying to customers. Everyone is aware this is inspired. I loved it
Im a fan of cristine but wow these fans shouldnt be bashing you!! Nothing like holo doesnt belong to anyone and everyone should feel like they should feel comfortable doing something interesting without being bashed ♡

First of all, I love this wig and the dye job, I might actually do that to my hair one day. But since you said people were saying it wasn't necessarily holo, I think the name "Ain't No Holo Back Girl" would be fitting.

I personally liked knowing exactly what and why you were mixing bc otherwise I would have been curious about the green tone in the silver and a few other aspects of your formulation and why you chose to use what you did. The purple and yellow were both interesting as well so I guess to each their own
I like how when you moved the hair and it got curly or tangled a little it started to look more gray because the colors intermixed that made it really realistic

I found one who specializes in color and finally it no longer breaks and she is getting it to the color I want without trashing it! Holo hair would be so awesome tho! I will have it someday but omg I can only imagine the work lol!

I’ve been through some minor to medium color experimentation over the past many years of my life.....and that is partly why I entirely lost my long hair three yrs ago and now that it’s grown back better and is even longer and thicker (so very thankful!) I’m super paralyzed in going forward with what I’d love to do when it comes to my hair, which I know is my security blanket. I’m really scared I’ll choose the WRONG colorist/stylist and have to begin again with another pixie. Nightmare, no thank you please. I so wish I had a disposable income right now(thanks a lot stroke monster!!)so I could make my hair dreams come true!!!!! But for now......with no concrete knowledge of when I can work again and bring in said income, I’ll vicariously live through your exciting videos......and just want it even more desperately than I did an hour ago....and hit repeat!!
