So on my way to exporting this video my dumbass managed to delete the formula for the violet and replace it with “g” 😂. This is a low budget operation, y’all. The violet formula was Trillion Tones White 30g plus Oligo Pro Violet 12 g. Happy painting everyone!
Ugh, when I wore "hot roots" 8 years ago, everyone gave me a weird face. I called it "sunset hair" then because mine was several shades of orange. I loved it, it looked like a spotlight near my eyes as it grew out. It wasn't my idea but I love giving stylists creative freedom, no regrets.
@@tnuoccaeht $150 in 6+ different colors of semi-permanent dyes... progresses to $10 total left to spend to get a couple drugstore boxed bleach kits because you can't afford the salon bleaching powder and developer anymore after picking your colors. I've very well learned this lesson before and yet once a year I still have to go through this again just to make sure it's still true... It's like buying circus peanuts just to remind yourself why you hate circus peanuts.
While I don't know if I'm totally sold on the hot roots trend, I have to say your take on them looks pretty awesome. Good call on just doing the top section... gives you the same kind of impact without hours of bleaching and color striping.

I was doing this while I was fully blonde I would have my roots done in pastels so it wasn’t exactly the same but almost exactly the opposite. It was beautiful

Caitlin Ford My "midlife "crisis" has been my hair for the past 3-4 yrs.. I chopped it all m off, have colored it white, silver, amathyst, saphire, & THEN decided to let my stylist "play"! I have since become her FAVORITE customer!!😊😁😃!! I make an appointment, give her an IDEA OF what I'd like (color frame, etc), then just let her go nuts!! I had a dream once a few years back that i was at an ice cream shop with friends and there was a girl who had honey blonde hair, but with light blue roots. We told her that her hair looked cool and all of a sudden her hairstylist came from around the corner and started going through her hair while talking about how this is a hot new trend called "rainbow roots". It was a weird dream, but it's cool to see hot roots become an actual thing

I watched this video a couple weeks ago and then just watched your video about losing your finger. now that I know, I can't believe I didn't notice it at first! I'm also surprised you don't tape down the extra finger on your gloves. I'm clumsy, so if I were you it would be flipping all over the place.
