It could also be set in the turn if the millennium, as both the 3D visualization of the blueprint and the logo that keeps showing up in the trailer are very indicative of 2000s marketing.
And the fact that it said the Switch means that Nintendo has no plans on slowing down on that console. I’m of the firm belief that the so called Switch 2 won’t be revealed until 2026.

I was never a fan of those giant pokèmon so I'm glad megas are back. My favorite part of my favorite pokemon Rayquaza is the fact that he can just mega evolve by eating rocks from space anyways.
Yay megas are back! Now I can look at Pokémon turn into dumber looking versions of themselves instead of giants or funny hats! jk But not entirely. I like mega evolutions as a gimmick but I’m not a fan of most of the designs. Some of them are cool though but I really hope that potential new megas don’t look ugly. I don’t mind your opinion on giant Pokémon. Dynamax wasn’t a very good gimmick but I preferred a lot of the gigantamax designs over mega designs and they were literally Godzilla sized Pokémon! Sure, not everyone is gonna like kaiju sized Pokémon battles but on paper it physically shouldn’t be capable of sounding like a lame idea. I respect mega evolutions though since they do bring some cool ideas like changing a Pokémon’s type and ability. Kinda sucks that in the Pokédex entries they say the mega evolutions are in a lot of pain. At least now I can use my boy mega aggron. I love that design and I’m glad it becomes just steel so it gets more defensive. Don’t care if it’s not broken.
Some people thought it was boring and just a long checklist simulator. Honestly sad because it’s genuinely an amazing game. My only issues with it are the graphics but they’re usually crusty looking, and some of the Pokémon designs. The origin forms got an overwhelming amount of hate but I honestly don’t hate them even if I agree with their flaws. Enamorus the 4th member of the black and white cloud people (tornadus, thundurus and landorus) is kinda weird looking and sneasler is also weird to me. I loved most of the other designs though like kleavor, ursaluna, basculegion. They were just top tier. I like the gameplay where you could catch Pokémon without going into battle. Definitely prefer that over scarlet and violet where you can touch a single molecule of a Pokémon and enter a battle, then you press run and something’s on top of you…BATTLE! It can get annoying.
My hunch is gen5 remake will be in gen 10 in switch 2. My processing is: Gen1 was first remade in gen3, but kanto was playable in gen2. Gen2 was remade in gen4. Gen3 was remade in gen6. Gen4 was remade in gen 8. So by logic it will be in gen10. Also dont think they remade a gen in same console. Gen1 was gba, gen 2 was in DS, gen3 was 3DS, gen4 was switch. So probably gen5 will be in switch2.
@@exia0616 I just hope i can still play it on the regular switch,had lite for so long and just got an OLED...although gen 3 is what got me into pokemon,gen 5 is hands down my favorite, B/W were already amazing and then we got B 2/W 2 which are just chef's kiss....
Even if its a full year, i wonder if the comapny could pull it off. I mean, imagine training your entire staff to cut corners to keep up with short deadlines for years. Now they have all these workers trained to cut said corners. Copy and paste where possible, throw any animation on any ability, etc. Even with the extra time, i have to wonder if these teams have the creativity to actually make use of it anymore. Or will it just be the same core issues, just maybe runs better and looks sharper. Or maybe wn extra gimmick this time around.
A lot of those techniques are used simply because they run on such a hectic schedule. PLA was largely well received by most who played it, but things turned in reverse after scarlet and violet release the same year as it did. The fact that this is a sequel to an already established game means that they can actually reuse sources from what they established in Legends Arceus
@desdar100 Didn't the company at one point have a huge database of premade models for all current pokemon, that they chose not to use? I recall hearing about that for S&S Just because they have it, doesn't mean they'll use it. That's been a problem with this company for years, from money to assets. They minimize what they use. And yes, they use those techniques because of the hectic schedule. But as a member of a workforce on hectic schedules, I learn where I can cut corners to keep things moving. Now, if I have a slow day, I don't *not* use those methods. I still abuse them and get done faster. Because that's what I'm used to. That's my fear. Are the workers too well trained in abusing shortcuts. Are the tricks they use too easy to not use for convenience.

Even back then though, Ken Sugimori and other Game Freak artists expressed dissatisfaction with how Creatures Inc. translated Pokemon to 3D, which became a contentious issue after the Pokedex cut in Sword and Shield. Since Pokemon Legends Arceus (PLA), they've been retooling and remaking 3D models to be more dynamic and closely resemble the original concept art. Game Freak's challenges stem from their hectic schedule and the soft reboot nature of each Pokemon game on the Switch, introducing new gimmicks and art styles. Pokemon Legends Zygarde being a sequel to Arceus allows them to reuse older concepts and develop them further, akin to what was done in Pokemon Black and White and their sequels. This approach can make a significant difference, as seen with past third versions like Pokemon Emerald.
@desdar100 Hopefully they do much more than just develop the same ideas a bit further. Even if its unfair to do so, I'm sure plenty of people will compare future games with "pokemon gun" after its sudden popularity. New games in the line-up suddenly have a much higher hurdle to jump now. In my opinion, anyway.
@@tasbard8545 I feel like this is essentially an extension of what Legends founded back in 2022 so they don't really have to struggle for new ideas here . Pokemon and PW are completely different games and the former is under the Nintendo umbrella which not only gives it a lot of nostalgic value to many but ensures that it will always so supersede most things that are in its orbit. Nintendo has historically been mocked for not being as powerful as some of its contemporaries, but that never stopped Mario and his friends from making billions in film and merchandising
I honesty was hoping that they would do the next legends one on the darkness days thing on sword and shield or the past from violet but it a new pokemon game so im happy
@@Purpletrident Yeah, because the game prior to that came out in November. There's no reason to believe that Legends games HAVE to come out in January.
@@BJGvideos well sure but pokemon usually keeps to their pattern. November was always when their core games came out. January for Legends Arceus was a pattern break so I just think that January will be for Legends games while November is for core games.
It's a new game set in an older region. The original X and Y getting feature you helping to build up a community in a brand new city, it was just a traditional Pokemon adventure.

Megas are back, a new legends game (everyone's been saying Arceus is the only good game they've released in years), and finally doing something with Pokemon Z, a cancelled game that was supposed to focus on Zygarde which was otherwise underdeveloped. Yeah bro, no one's hyped for this. You're so right.
