Hey Freedom Gorillas today we are going to explain the similarities and differences between the Holosun 507C X2 ACSS Vulcan and the 507C X2. We understand that it can be difficult to understand the differences when you don’t have them both in your hands. If you aren’t familiar with the ACSS Vulcan system, it’s essentially like an aim assist. There is a large outer ring that is not visible unless you do not have your dot centered. The large outer ring helps you “find the dot” when drawing the pistol. I went on Amazon and bought an electronic air duster. I got the corded kind because it is more powerful. Everyday when I get home from work I use it to blow off my gun, optic, holster, knife, etc. It was the best purchase I could have made. My gear stays clean now. I highly recommend
One thing i push on everyone that uses open emitter optics is to buy a corded electronics air duster. $30 on amazon. Blow off all your gear every day and everything stays clean.
Mine 507cx2 came dirty and couldn’t removed the dirt it seemed like it was stuck in between the glass or something. I just couldn’t get it off the glass how many times I tried cleaning it. Had to get exchanged twice now I’m waiting for my third one.
It’s a great question. The large window of the 507comp does make finding the dot easier. I would think the ACSS helps is akward situations better. Like being on your side or shooting with your non dominant hand
I have a HE407C-GR and i would always train with just the green dot and today at the range it just randomly changed to circle to dot and i cant go back to just dot i tried pressing the - button for 3 seconds and nothing happens it just lower the brightness would you happen to know what would be the problem
407C is a 2moa dot only, but if you meant the 507c - it sounds like it's in lock out mode. Hold the “+” button for 3 seconds until the reticle blinks then press the "-" button and the reticle will change from circle+dot to dot only
For those that think the 250 moa circle is a "novelty", that's fine, Until you're in a bad/weird position (not standing upright putting holes in paper) and you're about to get pummeled with a bat or piece of pipe.
