Hi glad you explained so much about our religious belief in Tulsi.Yes 100% about our belief and use in our daily prayers. I collect the seeds and keep sprinkle to spread the plant. We can never be without it.🙏🙏🕉🕉 Love from South Africa.
While being my husband's caregiver my herbalist recommended a tea of holy basil, lemon balm and nettle. I used this tea blend for almost a year to help with my stress in dealing with being his sole caregiver. I'm so glad to hear of all the additional benefits of Holy Basil! Now, I'll move on to your video about Lemon Balm! Thank you for all your herbal information!
I added Holy Basil to my herbs last year but it wasn't until I grew it this year that I started nibbling on its leaves a few times a day as I walked past it! I have since learned SO many benefits of this lovely plant! Thank you for this excellent video about this amazing medicince!
You are such a wonderful warm generous intelligent human being. Thank you for your generosity sharing this knowledge freely with others. Very grateful to you and your wonderful crew. It is such a delight to watch and learn from your videos, they are excellently produced. Thank you, and may God Bless You All! ❤
Lovely video! Just a note - I think you posted another picture of Rama rather than Vana. I bought the strictly medicinals seed packets this year too. My Vana has large fuzzy leaves. : )
I made holy basil tincture last year but really never used it. I This year my 18 year old son and I got upper respiratory infections- I think it was strep throat- at the same time. We got the same antibiotics. On the second day of antibiotics I started taking holy basil tincture 3 times a day and offered it to him. He tried it but didn’t like the way it tasted so he refused to take it. By the next day I had no more sore throat and felt almost perfect. I quit the antibiotics. He continued with his antibiotics only and had a bad sore groat for 5 days. Later this summer I had a cough and sinus drip. I took my drops a couple of days and felt fine by the next day. It’s amazing!!! I have holy basil in my garden bc and make both hot and iced tea with it often!
Wow! My hubby has type 2 diabetes, memory issues and recently had a heart attack. I don’t like the flavour myself but am listening with great interest for him! Thank you!
Loved this video, and the team credits at the end are a nice addition. I was just thinking about how beautiful the shots of plants are (“wait- Rosalee just mentioned how she likes to pair holy basil with ginger for one specific thing and there’s a beautiful image of holy basil and ginger? Wow!”), and now I know that Francesca is the person to give my kudos to! Well done!
One of the herbs i use now. Helps really good with post covid gutissues due to histamine intolerance. Takes the anxiety away depression and more strength.
I love your slow, conversational approach to teaching. So much more enjoyable and easier to integrate than so many rapid-fire, RU-vid herbalists. What would you say are the significant differences between Holy Basil and Rhodiola rosea?
Thanks for your kind words! I don't see a lot of similarities between rhodiola and holy basil so a list of differences would be really long. I do have an article about rhodiola on my website if you're interested. You can search for it using the search function and the site is herbswithrosalee .com Thanks again!
I grow Holy basil, it loves to grow beside Spilanthes. It's amazing! Helps with my anxiety and just feeling physically better. It smells so good and transports me to Nirvana. I love your teachings Rosalee. 💚🌙🌿
It’s my favorite tea which I grow because I want to know that is truly organic and safe! I feel uplifted in the body, mind & spirit when drinking it and also notice a lag in my thinking, mood & feel less positive when I forget to have my daily cup! I’m wondering if there are any contraindications?
@@HerbsWithRosalee I am sorry, I don’t have the latin name. It’s written on the package hairy basil seed 100% (mangluk) or graines de basilique 100%. The seeds are black, I think it’s from Thailand.
I have soft plaque LP(a) in the intima of my heart artery .. 97& blockage. I was prescribed Rosuvastin 40mg. I have a fatty liver, and it is advised this medication should be avoided. Is there a good herb , or oil to ingest to stop soft plaque formation, and reduce LDL cholesterol? I am having 3 drops of black seed oil morning and night. Thank you. 😊 ❤
I cannot find the tulsi seeds you were speaking of on this video. Strickly Medcinal herbs does dont have thst variety available. Is there another site? Love your show!
