Feast Day of St Mary of the Angels
God wanted to refocus the Israelites' hearts on what really mattered: their relationship with Him. Jesus, after feeding the thousands, refocused their hearts on Him, the food that endures.
On this special feast day, He refocuses our hearts on what the Eucharist means. The one Bread connects the children, adults, and seniors of our parish. Like Saints Francis and Clare at the humble chapel of St Mary of the Angels, we leave the world behind, for bread that satisfies.
