She’s been popular in the us since around 2010. She takes years long breaks in between albums and doesn’t rush the writing process and writes when things are going on in her life. It honestly makes her music so much more special because you have to wait for it and it doesn’t just happen yearly(which isn’t a bag thing either). I enjoy so many of her songs, she truly is incredible!
Not sure if this was mentioned, but she wrote this for her son to explain why she's not married to his dad anymore. As a parent, it hits so much deeper knowing that.

Adele has been around since 2008 or 2009, at least as a recognized musician. I am happy for her new look and music .No matter what she's akways beautiful and so is that voice.
Ohhhhh you guys make me laugh.. Adele has been around for quite a while.. She's 33 now and released her first album 19 around that age.. Her second album is 25.. again released when she was around that age.. She's been out of the game quite a while deciding to concentrate on her marriage and bringing up her son.. Sadly her marriage failed and she's just recently put out her third album 30 which documents her trials and tribulations for the last 8yr or so.. The album is her best I think.. I love Adele... The symbolism is about leaving her old life behind. She was with her husband and had a child at a young age and made the decision to get a divorce. She is explaining in her song to her child to go easy on her about her choice and why she made it.
I've been watching some of your reactions (started with Billie Eilish's "When The Party's Over"), and I got to say I love them. I'm gonna watch more after I finish this comment. I'm sure I'm not the first one to tell you this, but do you know the band Nightwish? They do symphonic metal, and I'm pretty sure you're going to love them. They have an incredibly talented composer, and their current singer is quite possibly the best voice alive today. If not, at least it's the most versatile. She can sing from growling to opera and everything in between, and she can do it in at least 7 languages. Her name is Floor Jansen. Sounds like a bold statement, but after a handful of songs, you will start thinking the same. They all do. Everybody begins with "Ghost Love Score" live at the Wacken Open Air Festival 2013 (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-47e_961OQWE.html) because it is a good teaser of some of the things the band (and Floor) can do. You won't regret it.

I can't stand Adele. All her songs sound the same. Her voice was good on 1 of those songs, but when there are more of them it becomes a bit boring and "screamy" ..... sorry!
