These growth times are bad, the most worth while time investment is gonna be carno and stego by far, carno dominates everything that weighs less than it and stego is just stego lol.
What's wrong with the changes? Have you been on the test servers or are you one of those "the sky is falling people"? The only change that sucks is the CD on attacks. You get to sub adult faster than on live. The diet changes are much better than on live. The stam costs are better and the food decay is better. So what exactly are you complaining about?

@@mirr1903 so stego grows quicker than carno on live? Is that what you are saying because I just grew a stego on live and it took way longer than any carnivore I've played. So what is your complaint?
I love how immediately after Filipe said that people didn’t know what they were talking about, those in general-feedback actually started timing the growths to give proof, including myself. Dryo took 1.5hrs to grow! Longer than troodon! I’m just hoping that all of this is just a test that we shouldn’t be taking as seriously as we are
As someone who doesnt hate the longer growth times (they can be fine tuned) I have to say that carno and pachy having the same growth time has to be a mistake there's no way they actually think that's a good change.
I would like to see them do the increased stam, but halve the growth times. Then we the players will have some fun. I'm really not sure why the devs want to make everything harder and more boring. I've been trying the horde testing for the past couple of days, but it keeps crashing - which is especially bad when you're a ptera flying over water...
probably to make fights further have to be skill based and attacks planned out rather than just spam biting. But this is not the way to do that, this is shit
i wonder why they wanted to make growth longer. in a ideal world i would have like to have seen stamina get increased with a slightly faster regen, slightly decreased growth compared to the original growth and maybe a unique AI in sanctuaries for carnivores to eat to get all the nutrients, like how herbies had the mushrooms, that way both sides get a head start.
That creates a lot of bush campers and over populated adults roaming around the map besides it is better to see more growth variations in a pack/herd instead of all members being full adult.
The growth time is barely noticeable. You get to sub faster but with the 100% growth buff you hardly see a difference. Have you been on the test server?
@@lynx17012 while I understand the thoughts process, I think the growths right now can be adjusted more spacificly to couple other dinos I don't think it's the worst and I understand what their trying to do But their yet to reach that sweet middle spot imo
I stopped playing a few months ago, after collecting 2.7 k hours on The Isle. It's just so frustrating how they randomly change stuff nobody asked for, and throw the balance off with every update. Also nesting is completely useless now, and they are doing nothing about it.
I've already quit and went to the community servers on POT. Never thought in a million years I would ever thought i would be suggesting to people to play POT.
PoT honestly took the throne as a better dinosaur game tbh. I tried it myself and it's pretty nice. The only gripe I have is in the official servers where growth is super slow
Ive gotta say, I'm just sad to see the state of the game right now. I loved playing legacy back in the day and I was excited for evrima but it's too much of a pain to play now. I hope it improves soon.
Nope, seen raptors die on test servers. But if they out number somebody they should win unless they are an uncoordinated group. Or do you think a solo player should be able to kill a pack of raptors?
@@holliegould3463 sure, but if you are playing against a group that does not coordinate. It's just like any 1vX scenario that totally depends on you fighting inexperienced players. Because let's be real, you aren't doing that against competent, coordinated players.

It's comical how they do away with the idea of diet "builds" and back to the all-stat-boost of 3 different diet, because there were meta picks. They're so against the idea of a meta that every few months they need to change the meta in an attempt to eliminate metas as a whole, instead of trying to make sure the meta they do end up with is something good. The 1s attack delay is a part of that.
The 1 sec cooldown is good for troodon to bite/pounce between attacks especially against equally agile omni. Previously Omni used to destroy a whole pack as its alt attacks were very fast.
Also why are they making stuff thats suppose to be low tier 2+ hours, liek what are they gonna do for larger stuff like rex 20 hours? sorry but i dont have all day to spend growing
I would say many complaints (and also some defensive comments) tend to be overly generalizing instead of treating such statements in context from case to case. The species differ and if you got a complain you have to state as what species and under what circumstances (full diet or not?). Also those defender should ask for details instead of engaging in the same matter. Would make it easier for constructive feedback to be heard.
Attack cooldowns are GARBAGE and ultra immersion fucking. I also hate it on pot. Who fucking enjoys staring at their enemy right in front of them while waiting for the bite cooldown to run out. They definitely make stupid decisions from time to time but when they bring an already known shitty "mechanic" from another dinosaur game to their game, it just boils my blood.
the one second bite thing is so stupid. when they first announced cerato they said its strong because of low damage but fast bite rate but now they going back on that. these devs are something else man
Overall Carno's diet sucks ass... Not Dilo or Cera... like yeah i get that it's a small hunter but it's the Biggest land carnivore in the game, theres very few small-tier players and you just end up getting nutrients from Organs only, wasting like a whole kill... - Add Herrera, Beipi, and Hypsi to Lines - Add Dilo & Cera (or only Dilo) to S - Dots is fine. I find it weird how Dilo and Herrera isn't on both Cera's nor Carno's diet, must have forgot it... but yeah Carno's diet deff needs a rework for Sure!
Anyone want to bet the 1s cooldown between attacks is because they tried and could not fix the "spam attacks and they glitch = do no damage" bug ? Now that the abysmal server tick rate gets enough time between attacks to register them that bug is likely "fixed" too, purely as a coincidence ofc, the dev team worked long and hard to find and fix that bug and has nothing to do with the much slower attack rate!
I haven’t opened Isle lately at all, Path of Titans is more enjoyable than the Isle rn, i’ve even been getting more enjoyment out of Beasts of Bermuda than the Isle. The Isle is the best advertiser for literally any other dinosaur sim game
I think the devs’ goal with these growth changes was to drastically reduce their amount of overall fans. That’s really the only logical explanation for this change, since they won’t provide any actual reason.
If they don’t fix this, it’s gonna be the final nail in the coffin. Stam regen is garbage, growth times are broken and cooldowns to attacks? Wtf is happening with this game???
At this point I think they haven't implemented the growth thing for carno or stego lmao. Like maybe they forgot to add these changes to some dinos or smth because holy shit this is bad. How can you make carno, a creature bigger than teno and a creature that weighs more than teno, take less time to grow than teno 😂. Then there is the stego problem. Stego takes like 30 mins longer to grow than a teno and you get so much more for 30 mins lmao
Not much longer than on live. You hit first stage at 24%. Then sub adult at around 40% instead of 56%. If you have all 3 nutrient diet you get a 100% growth increase too. Don't listen to all the sky is falling people. It isn't that noticeable.
@@lt.danicecream the carnivores seem to have kept the same growth time, herbivores take longer now which is the problem, im an herbivore main, i ENJOY small tier like galli,dryo,pachy, and beipi, but now im hearing dryo takes over an hour to grow??? i might as well go play something bigger. they are killing the already small herbivore player base
So a lot of ppl saying that a 1.8 tons creature grow faster than a 500kg creature (2 hour +) Can you imagine that if pachy really grow 1/3 time of carno which is "compare by size" is only about 40 minutes? Can you imagine that theres a bunch of head bonker running around and get all carno a fully fractured service before they even fully grown ? (You know that pachy is carno killer) So what i mean is dont compare the grow using size or weight , pachy is strong , and 2 hours is great . not always "bigger=longer growth time" , just like you compare it with deino , not logic isn't it
But i agree that pachy gonna grow faster then carno ❤ , more balanced , the reason is that pachy wasn't really strong without adult (afk issue is ignored cuz seems like dev wanna go for more juvi fight) compare to carni like dilo?? maybe Even that pachy was fully grown , herbivore simply cant leave the migration zone , so it doesn't really matter if pachy have like 1h 45m to grow (in perfect diet 100% growth)
Carno is supposed to grow longer due to its larger size and it’s dedicated niche. If you aren’t bad at the game carno can mow through pachys with ease as long as there isn’t 50 of them mega clanned with Tenos and stegos
If people quit plying the isle, the devs will change things to make the game good again. Said Legacy (the broken version) is starting to be better again. 😢

@@UserNamedTenonto prahaps But evrima is also different from legacy overall So it'll never feel like legacy obviously, it's just the idea of slowing the game down just like how legacy was But obviously they haven't got there yet and I'm sure more changes will come in due time
most herbivores are weak though, pachy dies to 3 bites from a carno, yet it takes the same time to grow ??? yea it breaks legs, but its still overall weak compaired to cera, carno, and sometimes even dio. Teno is good at defending itself but its still killable, and now it takes LONGER than carno??? especally now with the attack cooldown, a carno pair can easily kill one
@@foreverbeep1339 pachy is pretty weak when it comes to hp and by right it should be, they are very dangerous in herds and as I play the game u see the most herbivores team up since well vegetarians u don’t see carnos and Ceras together unless they are friends playing the game
