Im a Stihl guy 6 saws 26 thru 66. 361 has always been my all time favorite I have 2. My son wants his first saw I thought a used 361 was the only way to go with his budget. Your video is a screamer. The saws speak for themselves, I'm tempted to suggest he get a new G366. I'll let him be the guinea pig LOL
I bought a 36" Tsumura bar for my G660 and I'm impressed by the quality construction and craftsmanship. The Farmertec's run great and are a great bargain.

Brother!! If you haven’t yet, get yourself a Farmertec MS361 parts kit, and when you put it together, swap the top end kit for a NWP or Hyway Big Bore (49mm) kit (I did a little bit of port alteration, mostly widening out the lower transfers as they are similar to 372xp lowers) gut the muffler, upgrade the China carb to a walbro, and lastly, switch out the oil pump for an OEM MS460 oil pump. If you end up following this little recipe, you’ll end up with an absolute, Lightweight, wood cutting machine!! If you want to get a little sneak peak, I’ve got a handful of Videos on my channel showcasing a Build with that exact recipe! I’m super mad at myself for letting that specific build leave my life... been wanting to build another but I just Haven’t pulled the trigger yet..
@@poparamiro please don’t hesitate to ask! The Hyway top end kits are excellent! Especially if you are planning on doing some grinding and porting, using one of these kits instead of the OEM jug and piston. it’s much less of a heart break if you ever happen to make a mistake and ruin the cylinder.
What farmertec saw would you recommend for general firewood cutting? I already have a stihl 024 I'm rebuilding into an 026 with a 16" bar. I was looking at the g366 but wanted opinions of someone who had one. I don't cut anything huge.

Ținând cont că g 366 ie nouă şi ms 361 se vede că a tăiat mult la viața iei parcă lama şi lanțu de pe g366 parcă ie un pic mai agresiv se înfige foarte bine pe stihl parcă ar fi luat ceva că se înfige mai greu în rest nai ce zice o plăcere ca de obicei te salut şi sănătate.
Observatii corecte, lantul era mai mic si mai agresiv pe G366, pe MS 361 erau un RS proaspat cumparat... MS 361 a taiat, dar nu foarte mult, a fost folosita pentru casa, doar ca nu e prea ingrijita. Toate cele bune!
@@poparamiro aşa se întâmplă la noi cumpărăm tragem pe ele se astrânge mizerie de 1cm şi după vrei să ai performanță în lemn niciodată concluzia tai cu ia după o cureți asta dacă ți la utilaju tău sau mai bine la investiția ta te salut.
