In this video we discuss the Homag Storeteq and if it was worth adding to Tyler's business. It used to be called the Intellistore but it's since been changed to Storeteq.
Great Video! Inventory and moving materials to the machines is the biggest struggle in our shop and limits our capabilities. We looked into the Storeteq but it was quite a hefty investment. We feared if we didn't have enough backlog to keep the machine in use, our ROI would be in the dumps. I appreciate it's value as the first step to one-piece flow and inventory management, but the decision makers in my company with the checkbook are hesitant. Hopefully we can get to a position where we feel comfortable enough to pull the trigger. Hearing your support for it helps for sure. I'm glad I discovered your videos!
i thanks youtube forshowing me this channel. This is a huge motivation for me. I know it may take me a lifetime to get to your level but illget it. Please keep uploading . im addicted to this channel
Great videos guys. I’d love to see a more in depth video on the capabilities of the CnC’s. Maybe a walk through of building a simple cabinet. Keep up the good work 👍
Hi, brilliant looking shop, we have 2 flat bed biesse cnc’s, & a new homag rear load beam saw. Was thinking of a store, with a new homag cnc & link in the beam saw, but don’t know if it will get me anymore sheets per shift, as we batch produce. How many sheets per day, or per hour, do you get through? Cheers lads
Great work guys! No one is doing the type of videos you guys are doing, this is what helps small businesses get to the next level, to know their options and what’s possible. What’s the ducting you’re using for your dust collectors? I see it’s not the quick fit stuff, so what exactly are you using there?
Thanks for the info. I was unaware that the nordfab quick fit connectors would work with regular spiral pipe. That’s great news. Thank you! Looking forward to the new videos on the n500. We’ve been in between the Homag n300 and the SCM n100 or x200. I’m interested in how the Homag system works.
If you had a breakdown on the storetec what's your technician average call out time.? If that breaks down it would be a nightmare to get material to your machines
No doubt it would be hard if it went down. We have been down for about a hour before. Stiles tech support is amazing. Over the phone they can diagnose and almost always get machines going again. If not we can usually get a technician next day.
