The more we know, the more we realise we don't know. Science. As opposed to 'the science' which is taking us all to some very dark places because certainty is assumed not established.
Fascinating discussion, but failure to agree on even the most basic definitions of the terms people are using seems to me to be at least somewhat problematic. Would be interesting to hear Dawkins comment on this now
Denis and Richard debated last year. It doesn’t aim for continuity with this debate, but it speaks to the same foundational conceptualization, and Dawkins arguments felt weak and generalized, having waned under the mounting evidence of Dennis et al’s work in the interim.
