Why on earth does he have such a problem with Caleb referring to his partner as his mate??? Why does he keep referring to Caleb’s military past??? Did Caleb do something bad?? When the title said “Home Again… Home Again” my brain immediately went, “Ooh so we’re skipping the trip to the city and going home to Frosthaven?” Even though I was very well aware of the fact that such a thought was wishful thinking

I can just imagine holding onto Caleb's hand for most of this, it doesn't sound easy for him and he just seems so TIRED. If tensions are already this high, I can only imagine how it will be when dealing with both his siblings.

As soon as Dad said, "Because you didn't seem to care," it struck a nerve with me. My mother said that to me over this past weekend simply because I didn't want to go to church with them in the morning. I asked a whole month and a half off of work in advance for this one weekend. I came home to celebrate a close family birthday, not to be disrespected and treated like a heathen. My life aside, this was a wonderful episode, Nomad. I loved hearing Caleb talk more about his younger life pre-Frosthaven.

I finished the audio and oof ... I was hopeful, real hopeful in the beginning - the friendliness, the warm chat, and pizza offer but oof dear dad killed it all in a matter of moments... And its so sad because clearly, he missed Caleb, I bet they all do, but is it so hard to accept that he's a werewolf??? Like why just why??? Man... I just want to give Caleb a hug because I know this isn't easy for him either... because he's missed them as well, and I know if I was hopeful, he was too... Jeez... I sympathize because I know the feeling and it stings ngl...

!!!!!! Caleb, my beloved. I know this is gonna hurt, but darned if I'm gonna let him go through it alone 🥺 Oof. One of my best friends lost his mom to renal failure, that is...a hard time. I'm wincing on the family's behalf. Akdjakfka when Caleb said he wanted to make his own decisions, my brain was like "so...you joined the military?" And then his dad said it and I was like "whoa, now i feel bad for thinking it??" 😂 Oof, this is rough. You can tell his dad really missed him and loves him, in his own way. There are just some gulfs that even love alone can't bridge, and that's *so* hard. I feel for Caleb. It's hard when someone else's best still can't be what you need.

This one made me think of the years my dad and I used to argue over stupid things but became more painful to speak to him when I became a parent. How my father has treated my special needs son. My son is seven, wonderful, brilliant little boy who on the Spectrum and nonverbal. My son is my heart and soul, my husband and I treasure him. I wish his grandfather could see how wonderful our son and would treat him the same as he treats his other grandkids. To know my son, is to know pure love and kindness. Thank you for making this one, because it only reminds me the promise, I made to my son the day he was born and held him for the first time in my arms. I promised him, no matter who he will be or how he lives his life, I will always love him, support him and encourage to live his best life. Thank you for making this audio.

Happy to hear from Caleb again! Nomads Tales and Audios: where you learn about coffee and motorbikes. 😃 Sad to hear what Caleb's mother is going through. Renal failure/dialysis is no joke. Caleb and his father seemed to have decent rapport until he mentioned "one of your things". While it's not completely out of the realm of possibility, I do have hope that Caleb's relationships with his dad and potentially the rest of family could be repaired.
