One big mistake is : How can Kevin has the full recording of his Uncle Frank in the shower when he litterally records him for like 5-10 seconds. The last part after the "slap you silly" is sung by Uncle Frank whilst the door is closed.

I just noticed that there smoke coming off the roof when they’re climbing down the kerosene rope, then when the cut away and then back again, no smoke! 😵‍💫

The reason that the hotel person had kneepads on is so his knee doesn't get hurt for real whenever it hits the table during filming.

regarding Kevin's age, remember that the first Home Alone came out in 1990 and Home Alone 2 came out 2 years later in 1992, although it might have been filmed in 1991

Why does Peter’s back pack that Kevin takes say “K. McCallister” on the bag. Also, the parents say it’s been a year since he was last left home alone, yet somehow Kevin says he has aged 2 years and Harry and Marv say they were in jail for 9 months.

It doesn't if you watch Kevin has his own backpack with K McCallister on the bag Kevin is carrying his dad's bag and he puts it in his own backpack when he gets seated on the plane. You're right though Kevin is 8 in the first film but 10 in this film despite only a year passing

I think the writer may have confused Macaulay's real age with his character. In real life he was 10 when the first movie came out, and 12 when part 2 came out. But his character was only suppose to age 1 year.
