You are the only one that talks about floor lamps giving tips for each style and buying options. You should consider making a new version of this. I’ve watched this one 5x already ❤
I have a really awesome antique metal floor lamp, with a square marble base, I need to work on it. It is so beautiful. I need a new shade for it, so I like to watch these lamp videos.
I actually love that Amazon Globe Harrington lamp. Why didn't I love my mom's mid century modern furniture and lamps, all those years ago?! I would have some amazing things right now, if I did. I love it, now. She, somehow, made traditional and mid-century modern work together. I still have all of her traditional antiques, and they are amazingly beautiful. She virtually paid nothing for them, but they are beautiful. However, I am so tired of looking at them, now. I need a change. The mid-century modern is growing on me, more and more. My mom was so stylish, and I didn't even realize it, at the time. She was one of those people who could walk into a store, full of very similar vases, or lamps, or whatever, and instantly grab the real antique. She knew her stuff. She could, also, walk through the yard and come back with a handful of four leaf clovers. 🤷 She didn't realize how incredible she was, because her parents pulled her out of school, when she was in the 8th grade, to take care of her brothers and sisters, there were 11. She was the third oldest, I don't know why they chose her to pull out of school, the rest of the 10 kids graduated. My dad made her feel like a queen, for 25 years, until he died, shortly after their 25th wedding anniversary. There wasnt much that made her happy after that, except, her children, grandchildren, and thrift shopping. She found some great things, and i still have some of them, and, now, I know why she chose them.
Wow! You have done your homework! That combined with your drive to create a high end design for a reasonable price puts you at front and center! Great info!
Charming man! Old fashioned term for a really modern man. Thank you for your thoughtful quality videos. Good research on dupes. And the DIY videos are great! Thank you.
Wow, what a fabulous video! I love any/all “dupe” videos personally...fave lamp would be the solid brass similar to mushroom lamp. So much helpful info here, I’ll no doubt watch this one again. And your humor and personality are wonderful, ie. go out dancing with a lamp etc. LOL!
You did an amazing job with your selections and reviews. Thank you so much for sharing, I really enjoyed this video and it helped me to decide on a lamp for my newly redecorated living room.
I'm still trying to get over the prices for these floor lamps?! Just to say you bought it from a well-known store? Nope. I think the lamps you showed from Amazon and Target look just as good as the ones from so-called 'high end' retailers selling stuff for $700 and more besides. The trick is to style them in a way that makes an item that you bought at the cheaper end and upcycled look more expensive than the price you paid for them. Your videos really go a long way to helping to achieve that look for people who don't have endless amounts of cash to spend on decor.
@@linavilaa one question is it possible to copy exactly a BMW or any car ? Imagine all the efforts the original creator is putting in ... and then ... instantly copied.
