The HP68 rounds are a mix of copper and nylon...

Assuming you found out the Grimburg are far superior for Defense - with the right marker. Byrna shoots at to low an FPS to do any real damage, but their Pepper balls make up for it. The FSC and Pepperball Markers seem to be the top performers in the Pistol lineup with the T8.1 now retired from production. Tipx/Mission/Salt - all the same marker - run a distant second.

Byrna has a nice looking handgun but the design isn’t good. The co2 loading from the front is a horrible self defense design. You want something like the first strike where it’s in the grip with the rounds because that allows you to maximize your shooting velocity with each Mag. The byrna if your CO2 messes up you’re screwed or if it runs out and need more; at least when there in a mag you can swap magazines like normal and still be able to fight. It’s too easy for a co2 to mess up and I wouldn’t want that issue when I need it most. Also, I prefer the larger co2 for ease of finding but the smaller type are good for compact setups.

Grimburg hp68's are best for self defense, if you don't have a marker for shaped projectiles ,they have the jul rounds, same weight. There are a lot of factors to make them effective though. You have to have 1 a powerful marker or a tunable marker, 2. you have to size your barrels to each projectile. Like the grimburg rounds both can be used with .686 bore barrels, and the red ones are .683 bore barrel, I know because I use many projectiles myself. 3 mods like hpa tanks versus co2 , upgraded seals like o-rings etc. And on and on.

I’ll be designing my own using FS rounds to see if I can generate a better shaped projectile by using FS shells since that’s what the barrels are designed for ultimately. Fins vs slugs so to speak. To utilize the rifling your projectile has to spin, which grimburg doesn’t have the fins to follow the grooves nor a lead base form like real firearm projectiles that can allow the barrel to etch into the material faster and easily to create a rapid instant spin. This is just a hypothesis, results soon to come.

@@ProjectAnubisUSA I upgraded my first strike FSC's o-rings to the milsig o-rings from grimburg. I'm guessing the red rounds come different size depending on where you buy it, I bought mine from riot balls .com and mine are .683

@@TheJerzeyGuy I just got a nemesis barrel and noticed the grooves are extruded not recessed which makes the barrel only able to shoot FS or soft rounds because the control bore is smaller due to the grooves. I couldn’t fit the grimburg, red balls nor gray balls in the barrel. The barrel is damaged on the outside so I’ll be replacing it. I’ll do a comparison video hopefully this weekend to show this. If the FS results are good once I figure out optimize weight distribution I’ll probably be making them for sure. Only thing slowing me down is finding time 👍🏻

Recommending a product based on your opinion and thoughts is like judging a book by its cover. If you want a less lethal not to hurt anyone and to chase people off your lawn, let me suggest you use a squirt gun😅😅😅

This is for people who need it for rodents, glass breaking abilities, “something better than nothing” options (I recommend paperspray) and law dependent situations which people are limited to what they have access to. I should’ve been more clear about not shooting them. I actually shot them at a cardboard target for barrel testing but nothing at a distance nor with a proper setup to gauge accuracy and impact; which is why I said I didn’t use them yet. You can see in the background, distance wasn’t available to really see proper results. I just wanted people to be informed of what I could inspect before they commit to buying a larger supply since I knew my testing wouldn’t happen soon. I do have a sprinkler arsenal to remove those rodents off my lawn along with multiple fire ants 🐜 military stations. I can’t be exact on the numbers nor locations because that’s classified information. It’s the Cheapest way to fortify the house 24/7.

Thanks for the video, and I will try and be less critical if you try and provide a little more detail. Thanks, and I hope you have a great night.

rubber are iffy in magfed . in the uk they take weeks from america .. how do you rate 3 g riot balls
@ProjectAnubisUSA
@ProjectAnubisUSA 2 года назад
The rubber feed more like a paintball and the hard plastic have to be tailored to the barrel due to the potential ball drop if the rubber fingers (can't recall the name ATM) cant grip it. The 3g. are good they blast through the 5gal buckets with no issue on stock 850ish PSI and cheap enough to not worry about looking for them. I recommend going heavier if your marker can handle it and you can afford to so they fly straighter further. For messing around the 3g. work nicely and also deliver a welt to remember. The FN 303 uses 8.5G as a reference.

Get a etha 2 then set the mode to fully automatic (tutorials on yt on how to do that) and that will make em think twice
@ProjectAnubisUSA
@ProjectAnubisUSA 3 года назад
The only issue is no shaped projectile options and given its efficiency it has a low operating pressure (450-500psi) unsure if it can handle higher pressure. Distance, flight efficiency and impact diameter needs to maximized (shaped FS style rounds / rifling). Hence why I opted for the T15 with full auto which just needs installment; seeing if semi can be modified to full auto first (comparing). Other mods are already in the works or have been posted.

@@ProjectAnubisUSA Hi, if you have a planet eclipse EMEK EMF100, can you please do a shooting video at normal velocity (even if you cannot crank the velocity up). I feel that this rifle could be a good indoor sniper rifle for sing shot/semi auto only.

@@cunnyfred9562 I don’t have one. That gun seems to be a favorite amongst a lot of people. I have a tippmann stormer and t15 currently. I’ll hopefully be getting a milsig m17 or the new upgraded version because it has full auto on a budget.
@cunnyfred9562
@cunnyfred9562 3 года назад
@@ProjectAnubisUSA There is TOO MUCH emphasis on FULL AUTO. Full Auto is not necessary for a good skilled trained shooter - it wastes gas/ammo, reduce the muzzle energy and accuracy of each shot due to cool down effect. Planet eclipse EMEK EMF100 is good because it is a low pressure gun that works on HPA - this means that it does not need the high operation pressures (850psi) that tippmanns or tiberius markers need just to work properly. It has better internal technology (spool valve) and is also good for countries where full auto is not allowed. The planet eclipse EMEK EMF100 might be the only option available, because all the other regular markers are flying off the shelves, already out of stock.

I don't know if that was a question or reassured statement for someone in doubt? But if its a question then yes it will work, results in performance will greatly vary depending on your exact bore size so I recommend buying a barrel or choke tubes to accommodate the ball size you purchased just like you would on a paintball. Also buy in batches so the sizes are more consistent. If budget allows upgrade the regulator to a higher PSI as well to get really good performance.

Can i shoot hp68 from the grimburg matched barrel…. Or would I have to use the stock barrel
@ProjectAnubisUSA
@ProjectAnubisUSA 2 года назад
“The HP68 0.684″ caliber projectile works in all rifled and smooth bore barrels with a bore of at least 0.686″. For First Strike compatible magazine fed paintball guns (D shaped projectiles)”. As long as you barrel is 0.686 or larger it works, nemesis rifled barrels measure rifling different and are smaller than stated because the rifling is extruded instead of cut in the barrel like the hammer head. Check out my barrel video.

@@ProjectAnubisUSA It's good to have different "layers" of defense as you suggest. Not all situations call for lethal force, even if it is justified. If you kill someone, it's still going to cost thousands of dollars in court to defend oneself.

As long as it’s 0.68 cal. Which it should. You wanna be aware that the more weight you’re shooting the slower the projectile may go especially with the CO2 style pistol you’re using. So all these projectiles on the market said to be heavy like 12 grams pack a big punch is only effective in a HPA riffle; it may be just as effective to throw them at someone because the velocity won’t be fast enough to do any real damage so I’d recommend to stay around the 3 g range with a CO2 cartridge so that way you could get more velocity out of it. Ideally a 50 Cal would shoot harder because the mass and drag is smaller for CO2. You won’t have that issue with the rifle because you could increase the pressure a lot more and tune it with a good barrel. The issue with the CO2 is it decreases in velocity faster or rapidly do to The office freezing in rapid shooting. I’d recommend looking at a conversion kit that turn your CO2 cartridge into HPA to get better consistency and they have two options that are a direct replacement. Also, the First Strike Compact FSC Paintball Pistol or Tiberius Arms TAC 8.1 Pistol Paintball Gun are good options. These maximize output pressure of co2 per mag. Just some things to ponder. @@ProjectAnubisUSA so whats byrna weight ? 3 gram ?
@ProjectAnubisUSA
@ProjectAnubisUSA 3 года назад
@@michalmisio64 3 grams or 3.5 (3.6) grams they are all pretty standard in weight for the most part I can’t remember off the top right now. They have typically 3 or 4 typical weights brands sell... just don’t buy the steel inserted rubber coated ones you’ll find on eBay because your gun will lobs them due to being 10-12 grams. I’ll measure the weight when I get a lighter scale and do more testing.
@ProjectAnubisUSA
@ProjectAnubisUSA 3 года назад
@@michalmisio64 i’m looking into a few different compounds for the projectiles in the near future. One of the things that I’m really interested in is rubber projectiles it seems like it wouldn’t hurt as much as a harder projectile but in hindsight it will make a better seal in the barrel and hopefully having more dead below style impact on the target along side more velocity due to the better seal it makes. So hopefully I will be able to show some impact test soon once I make a projectile catch trap.

Careful what you put in a Byrna. If it gets stuck you have no easy way of clearing the barrel. No, .68 is not a standard size. Balls run from .683 to .690. Byrna has a tight bore.
