Home Depot No Longer Sells Ridgid Sump Pumps? WatchDog Sump Battery Upgrade Goldenmate LiFePO4 

Can you make a video showing in detail how you switched from a lead acid to LPF and keep the battery backup sump pump going? Your video kind of just went over top level. Thanks!

I'm on Long Island NY. I just checked and my local Home Depot has Rigid pumps in stock. The other 2 brands it has are Everbuilt and Wayne. I didn't see any DeWalt pumps there. Since I too have a sump pump system installed at my parents house it seems I usually get about 2 years out of each pump which means it's just out of warranty before the pump would fail. So the last time I had to replace the pump, I decided to go to Harbor Freight and get their best pump and pay for the extended warranty knowing that with the warranty it wouldn't be any hassle to replace it. Since then, it's been about 3.5 years with no issues at all.

I’m in Mississippi, there are Ridgid sump pumps available at my local Home Depot, but not in a great quantity. We also lost our Ridgid repair services this year

I live in 36695 zip code and almost all the sump pumps are not available in any HD stores near me, however most homes in this part of the country don't have basements. HD does offer "Free Shipping to Store and Free Delivery". I have notice the stores in my area slowly carrying less inventory on Ridgid items in store. However they have a lot more available on line with "Free Ship to Store". I have been loyal to the Ridgid brand since they first came out, but now questioning my self before any new purchases. Their tools have never let me down and worked flawless from day one for me. I would love to switch to Milwaukee but the are PRICEY. I am debating on the Ryobi line as they seem to be coming out with more tools lately. I have a 40 by 60 workshop with no employees, I'm doing home repairs for others along with light construction work.

I think it's a regional thing. Over here in the NJ, PA, NY area, Home Depot still carries Ridgid sump pumps which are made by Wayne Water Systems. Apparently the Dewalt sump pumps are made by the Pedrollo Group.

This guy jumps on any chance to run ridgids name into the ground. Lol

As a plumber of 17 years . Your wrong using that battery . And Watch dog is a cheap knock off system they have serious issues with there charging packs . You should only use Marine Grade battery’s with the battery backup systems . You can buy them at advance auto or your local shop . Your going to end up burning out the battery or the charger pack because there not compatible . Smh

That's very strange regarding Home Depot. The product lines they cover are usually very consistent. I'll have to check that out.

YO MAN>.. you never have done a hart lawnmower review... they had a 40v 18 inch for 218... but I noticed your 80v powersmart review.... You seem so knowledgeble, I would hope you would do a video of a 40v vs 80v electrice lawnmower, differences Pros and Cons. Obviously more power... But have a super small lawn... I can mow it in about 20 minutes... super small lot... but I was thinking 40v 218 80v 249.99 i mean is it worth the extra 40 dollars, I have had good success with hart products... Although I know people have had horrible times with them.. .and Powersmart is not a brand I am to familiar with... IDK.. just wanted your opinion.

I plan on doing the exact setup. I saw that you stated in the comment that you are using the LiFePO4 charger for it, do you have the Watchdog AC adapter unplugged? If so, does the LiFePO4 battery give power to the controller unit with warning lights (i.e., Battery, Fuse, Water, Pump, Power)? Thanks

Watchdog sump pumps suck!

There are still 6x rigid sump pumps on the HD site. Three of them are available at my local store in Joliet IL. The other 3 are either ship to store or shipping.
