Home Electrification - How Much Power Do You Really Need?
The full electrification of our homes may sometimes require expensive upgrades to its electrical system. Luckily, this scenario can often be avoided, with inexpensive energy monitors and other tricks of the trade because the National Electrical Code allows to go past the rated capacity after a month of monitoring actual usage. Our presenter is Shawn LeMons, who will also talk about his extensive experience designing modern heat pump systems.
Shawn has a broad range of professional experiences from management in large corporations to ownership of small businesses.
Some of his certifications include: RESNET HERS Rater, LEED Green Rater and PHIUS+ Rater
Organized by the Jeffco chapter of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society, recorded on May 30, 2024. Contact: jcres@cres-energy.org, cres-energy.org/. Video production by Martin Voelker.
