Alison, you do really fun HF reactions. You're a true Home Fry! If you like Tim's low notes, you have to check out Brothers In Arms- it will blow you away.
The guys did a great job of this Johnny Cash cover. Made it into a jazzy blues style. And they all look like some sort of criminals especially Tim & Adam. Remember this was done during quarantine so none of them were physically together. They were very creative during that time. Love the background train noises. Adam's beatboxing is crazy good & so is Tim's low notes.
For fun and an example of editing released during covid check out Home Free collaborating with Peter Hollens and +/- 100 fans with the cover of "I still haven't found what I'm looking for". For just excellent sounds try "How Great Thou Art", set in the Austrian alps and "Bless The Broken Road" from 2022. Good reaction. Thanks from USA.
You're perfectly in their groove. For more of #homefree in gospel mode, see their collaboration with Kenny Rogers on Children Go Where I Send Thee, or My Church.
I love this arrangement too. One of my favorites. Yes, it was during covid. They put out a lot of content during that time. So creative. We think Tim did the crime, Adam belongs in the insane asylum and the others were accomplices. Don’t pay attention to the height charts - they’re all wrong. 🤣😍😄
Love your reactions to our boys. Looking forward to your next Home Free song. For layers and low notes, Misty Mountains, with Peter Hollens featuring Tim Foust is just perfect. The two of them sound like a choir. And Home Free's cover of Listen to the Music is another great one. It features some great beatboxing. There's just so many, it's hard to suggest what to react to next. Whatever you choose, it will be fun.
Fun little Easter egg in this video: their height charts are wildly inaccurate. They're all pretty tall in real life (between 6'1 and 6'4 or 1.85m to 1.93m) but their heights in this video range from Chance being 5'0 (1.52m) to Rob being 6'8 (2.03m). They add little jokes like that into a lot of videos. Also, the sound at 3:52 in this video isn't Adam's voice, he just recorded himself racking an actual shotgun. It's neat, because they don't do things like that too often.
I think that they really knocked out this cover, and that goes for the video, too. But then that’s not too much of a surprise, once you consider the talents of these guys. They’ve got boss level a capella in my book. Greetings from north of Seattle, Washington, in the Pacific Northwest region of America.
On his last solo section, Tim drops down to an E1 in chest-fry. That is a phenomenal feat to do and maintain volume. To put that into context, that was 1 octave deeper than either Tim or Chance were doing during their other solo sections. Plus, an E1 is the lowest note on a 4-string bass guitar, which is an octave deeper than a typical bass singer. So, yeah, it was definitely pretty low. But, again, he did it in chest-fry, which isn't even Tim's normal technique for going that low.
Hi Alison, new subscriber here, I love your reactions and I love Homefree. I don't think you can go wrong no matter what song you choose of theirs but I really like their cover of "Mayday". A real cute and funny one is their original song "Champagne taste (on a beer budget)", Tim wrote it! I look forward to any of their songs you choose to react to tho.
Allison #Homefree was a staple for a lot of us during the pandemic giving us music somthing new every 2 weeks they are big fans of reactors and the home fries. Great reaction looking forward to more.
Hi Alison, I’m watching from Long Island, New York. I am loving your reactions and the energy you bring! I would like you to react to some of their originals; Playing With Fire, Catch Me If You Can, Understand, Remember My Name, Remember This and Stargazer Trilogy to name a few. Just pick one, they are all awesome! Thank you for your wonderful reactions! Just love these boys! ❤ #HomeFree
That Low note that Tim hits towards the end, a E1. And iut deserved to be rewatched. LOL. You are not the only one who needed to rewind that. Nice Post.
I love Home Free! One "must see" group or performance every RU-vid reactor needs to see is Nightwish. The song is Ghost love score, live performance at Wacken 2013. Be ready to have your mind blown, and your senses stimulated. ❤
Fun reaction ! You must give the following Home Free selections a listen (I mean, really!): Brothers in Arms, In the Blood, Sea Shanty Medley and When a Man Loves a Woman. Pretty please ?
Home Free are so extremely talented. This song is so awesome! I love their version of this. Between Adam's beat boxing, the harmonies and Tim's in the basement drop, it is amazing. Love your reaction! ♥
@@AlisonReacts You will absolutely Love it! It was filmed during COVID. So they are all in different places. It kinda makes it even more 😎! I'm sure there will be MANY colors flashing! That we will Love hearing about! Have an awesome day ❣️ 🥰💞🤗
We were so grateful to Home Free for going to the effort to put out new videoes for us every couple of weeks during the most trying times of the covid lockdown. They kept us sane and entertained, giving us something to look forward to when there was nothing much else going on to give us hope.
Absolutely stunning... Oh ya, and Home Free was great too... Hehe... Love this song the way they do it. I always find myself trying to sing with Tim. Maybe it is a good thing my dogs are the only ones that can hear me. Lol. See ya soon I hope
Allison, when you hear them live & in person is when you really feel that bass...it rattles the windows. Try to react to one of Chance's leads...I noticed you said you liked his voice....try his lead on Workin' for a livin'.
I think it's time she checks out Mayday. Then maybe Thinking About You/Let's Get It On , and Tim's solo "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay". What do we think, is she ready?
Yes. She's a good listener and recognizes the guys. Ideally right after "Misty Mountains", which has been recommended to her. But yes, "Mayday" should be covered soon.
Hi Alison! This has always been one of my favorite songs, and HF did it justice in a big way. I saw your Megan makeup video, and tbh you’re prettier than she is. Those beautiful blue eyes of yours are mesmerizing. If you’re an a cappella fan, I’m sure you’ve heard of Pentatonix. They are the class of the genre, with 3 Grammys. If you haven’t heard of them, just enter their name on RU-vid. You won’t be disappointed
When Adam Rupp made the gun loading sound I thought it was a real gun they added. I backed it up and it was pretty amazing to hear him make that sound. I love # HOMEFREE. Please try BLUE AINT YOUR COLOR. Original by Keith Urban. But these men knock it out of the park. Thanks for your reaction. ❤
All the guys are between 6'1" and Rob is the tallest at 6'4". The height charts in the video are just the HF guys goofing around (as they do) 😆. #HomeFree
Listen to Home Free's versions of MAYDAY, Man Of Constant Sorrow, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road and Thinking Out Loud. They are such a talented group and everyone takes turn being lead.
After you've done another 3-4 Home Free songs, you'll be familiar enough with the guys to listen to Mayday. LOL. SURPRISE! You also need to check out Voiceplay and their bass singer Geoff Castellucci.
If you haven’t yet, you should check out Home Free Man of Constant Sorrow. it says the sound of a didgeridoo and a harmonica and it sounds exactly like it
Do their cover of Working for a Living, a Huey Lewis and the News cover. Great video. And I think you would enjoy Brother. Also a cover of a Need to Breathe song. Both videos are really good and have some humor in them!! Well, actually they have a lot of humor in them but I didn’t want to sell them too hard!! Enjoy your excitement and appreciation for what these fellows can do. Subbing today. Keep those HF reactions coming.
Tim looks thinner and actually sexy with that little bit of grey and Adam is always just wow/ The guys can all sing but Adam is so special. Doesn't talk much bu he can be so funny and sometimes down right sexy too. If I was youngg oh well just a dream.
#GabrielHenrique I leave as a suggestion for your reaction, the talented Gabriel Henrique, with covers by Stevie Tyler, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and much more. Each cover is a surprise.
Subscribed. Great performance and reaction! If you would like to explore more, may I suggest a reaction to BABYMETAL. Their music has a positive and uplifting message. They have a fun and awesome performance: BABYMETAL - PA PA YA!! (feat. F.HERO) (OFFICIAL) Or: MAYA【Live Blu-ray/DVD「BABYMETAL BEGINS - THE OTHER ONE -」"BLACK NIGHT"】 Or to showcase the lead singer’s amazing voice: BABYMETAL - Monochrome - Piano ver. / THE FIRST TAKE 🖖 ❤
You do great reactions...Thanks! Love me some Home Free! But if you like Tim's low notes, I strongly recommend you check out Geoff Castellucci's version of this song. He is the bass for Voice Play and sings all the parts. Think Tim's lowest note, sung even lower, sprinkled throughout the song. I promise you won't be disappointed. Also, please check out his group, Voice Play. Valhalla Calling is amazing!
Love their covers, but you should try some of their originals. I recommend Playing With Fire or Give Me A Sign - which is the first in their Stargazer trilogy.
You should react to the recently released audio song "Dil Banaane Waaleya" from the bollywood movie Fighter. It's sung by Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi. It has awesome music.
@@AlisonReacts AC/DC Hells Bells or Thunder Struck- ZZ Top , Legs or Sharp Dressed Man or LaGrange or TV Dinners… I have a a vast collection of music from the 60’s 70’s and 80’s both Country and Rock. I was fortunate enough to grow up with this music and believe it is some of the best music ever produced
@@rebelwithoutaclue5693 I’m afraid I’m already a huge fan of AC/DC! The Aussie in me! Lagrange as well! The others I can’t say I know by name! Thank you!
