Gah, I really wish I could agree with this, but I think Ed has the much better version. I love the Home Free boys so much, but this is one time that I can't say that I love this version better than the original.

@@winkieandleah hmm haven't heard that one. Though my favorite so far is the medley version by The Hound and The Fox. Also though what is consistent for me with all versions including Ed's original is I have to slow it down to 0.75 speed. Seriously fast pace ruins the depth and message and feels of this song.

Last November my fiancé and I saw you guys in Dallas. It was an amazing show. Planned on seeing you again this year but not sure I will be able. In may I broke my neck in a roll over accident. But the positive side is while in the hospital I introduced a lot of nurses to your music. Your music helped me through out my hospital stay and beyond. Thank you Donna

I know you have more devoted (or obsessed) than I am . I have listened to almost all songs you have put together. I can’t say all as I don’t believe in absolutes (always, never, forever and so on , there will be exceptions). Here in Rockport Texas I have yet to here of you. In my immediate family I can’t get them to a single song yet. I will keep trying. I saw you sang a song to raise funds for Hurricane Harvey. The eye of this storm went onto land in Rockport Texas. Yet I did not here about it until going through your songs to see which ones I haven’t heard yet. I would like to hear you on the radio. Then someone in my family would almost have to hear you guys. Truly you are all amazing, Rob’s silky voice, Austin’s almost always unrivaled at how you sing. Chance your range and style matches like, oh you know, Tim your voice has yet to crack in any range I,ve ever heard . Last and most understated, Adam. You are the glue and a singer. For the group. It was 6/07/2023 and I'm listening to this 12:58am and tears just running down my eyes at this very late time. Ed sheeran is singing about the country life and also includes all of us in the picture. He is a great singer not singing about himself but about how great everything is in the country. Oh how this song hits me, it hits me so so good ❤😢

Annie S - I hope both you and Raih, and everyone else, gets a chance to see the, live. I been lucky enough to see them 3 times now. Hearing them live is whole other experience entirely. I also found them while looking at other videos. I was fortunate in hat they were playing in my home town just a few weeks after I found and I was able to see them live for the first time. Unfortunately, it was right after Chris left so I wasn’t able to see him perform with the group. However, he did open for Home Free at the Christmas concert I saw last year, so that was cool.

Had the privilage of hearing Home Free live in concert this past weekend in Kansas City. WOW!!!! I was in love with their music before the show but their live performance was AMAZING!! This is such an incredible cover of such a sad song. The thought of growing up and growing apart from everything you were once close to is just heartbreaking. And being both famous and from my generation, Ed Sheeran probably wrote this song from experience. Bone-chilling job as always, guys!

Even though I normally hate "one-note-Sally" vocal lines (I sing bass, I've seen plenty), my favorite line to sing along with is that tenor-octave-rhythmic-pedal-tone thing; I just love that rhythmic pulse, and also it's fun to harmonize/improvise with. Yet another great one :)
