I get so tickled when reactors hear Home Free and are instantly hooked. Home Free has 200+ RU-vid videos. During the country's lock down, Home Free released new videos each month. They would each film from their homes (or other isolated locations) using their cell phones. They helped keep us Home Fries sane during the pandemic. They've released a new album "Lock Down" of their quarantine songs. They have several humorous videos, concerts, from the vault (behind-the-scenes), story time with Tim, collaborations with Peter Hollens. Tim Foust, Austin Brown and Adam Chance each have independent RU-vid channels. Misty Mountains, Brothers in Arms, Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Amazing Grace, among others, are mesmerizing. This group was started in 2000 by 2 brothers from Minnesota, Chris Rupp (left for a solo career in 2016 so he'll be in all the videos BEFORE 2016) & the current vocal percussionist, Adam Rupp, who can sound like anything he wants to imitate)! Adam is a 2 time beat boxing champion & we're not sure he's really human!👽 Adam Chance (called "Chance" to avoid confusion with having 2 Adams) replaced Chris Rupp & he's from the sticks of southern Alabama. Taking the lead on this song is smooth tenor Rob Lundquist, also from Minnesota. We call him "Gospel Rob"! Their basso profundo, Tim Foust, has a 5+ octave from the depths of "you know where" to high tenor (had long dark hair here but he now has short hair). Finally, Austin Brown, high tenor, who's been with them since 2012 & they found him singing on a cruise ship. He's from south Georgia & he's indescribable! They don't have a "lead singer". They choose the best one for each song. They're not only incredibly talented, they're humble, kind, generous & hysterically funny! When they were on the NBC show the Sing Off (they won in 2013) Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they wanted to do right by him. Rob (lead here) killed it and they are all so good. Those harmonies are great.

These guys have the richest harmonies I have ever heard in a band. Every note absolutely perfect and clear. I love that the group doesn't have a set lead singer. It's whoever's voice fits the song best that sings. And the background music is phenomenal. Another great reaction, thank you!

I used to listen to this Boyz II Men song so many times. Home Free puts its own twist on it while keeping the respect for the original, so now it's the turn of this version. Rob killed it. There is so much soul in his voice. Beautiful!!! But I know that without the other members it would never have sounded so perfect. But that is precisely what Home Free is the number 1 A-Cappella group for me. One by one, everyone has an important contribution. Everyone has their own specialty. And then the glue of the group Adam with his unbelievably inhuman beatboxing/vocal percussion/mouth sounds. Although it is of course even if it is a song without beatboxing it sounds great because of the great background vocals.

These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance harmonizing in the back, Tim adding some bass & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. All their songs are good whether it is serious, heart warming or funny. Welcome to the wonderful world of Home Free! Just in case no one has told you, the current members are: Austin Brown (high tenor in the blue and gold jacket), Rob Lundquist (tenor in the tan jacket), Adam Chance (baritone, between Rob and Austin. He also takes over the bass line when Tim is singing lead.), Tim Foust (bass with a 5+ octave range) and Adam Rupp (world class beat-boxing phenomenon). Adam Rupp and his brother Chris started the group, but Chris eventually decided to further his solo career, so Adam Chance was recruited. To fully appreciate Tim's vocal range, check out his version of "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay." It will knock your socks into next week.

I have had the immense pleasure of seeing them in concert 5 times in 3 different states and they sound exactly like this in person. They started as predominately country but branched out into almost all genres. You will love their cover of Shakira's "Try Everything."

Welcome to the land of Home Free! You are officially a Home Fry!!! Adam Rupp (beatboxer extraordinaire, regarded in some circles as the best beatboxer out there) and his brother, Chris Rupp, were among the original members of Home Free, formed in 2001. They call Minnesota home, along with melodic tenor Rob Lunquist, who joined the group in 2008. In 2010, Tim Foust, singer/songwriter and native Texan, toured with Home Free as a guest voice until 2012 when he became the full-time mind - and speaker - blowing bass. In 2012, Home Free signed on as guest performers on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship where they met southern Georgian Austin Brown who was a featured performer and expressed interest in Home Free. Austin joined Home Free in 2013 filling the upper ranges with his soaring melodic tenor. Also in 2013, Home Free auditioned with this line-up for The Sing Off, fourth season, and changed to a more country sound with which won the competition. In 2016, native Floridian, Adam Chance joined the group when Chris Rupp decided to strike out on his own. Usually called Chance, he sing bass, giving Tim's five octave range more options for harmony. Chance also fills the baritone and adds extra depth by adding another layer of beatboxing with Adam Rupp, who BTW, has a nice set of pipes himself. All five members of Home Free have backgrounds in musical training. The Rupp Brothers and Adam Lunquist all have BAs in music. Tim Foust and Austin Brown are active in songwriting and arranging for the group. They are an extraordinary group and seem to truly love what they are doing. And it shows in every arrangement, every chord, every note they share with those of us bless to hear them sing.

I absolutely love homefree!!! My husband took me to a concert for our anniversary last year and I was floored. Tim's bass voice shook the rafters all the way to the back of the building. It was amazing ❤️❤️❤️

Enjoy...I have been following them for years as our quartet learned to pace ourselves and blend and listen to each other which has made our quartet a better quartet and better persons in the long end. Home Free was originally formed in January 2001 by Chris Rupp in Mankato, Minnesota, when some of its members were still in their teens. The five founding members were brothers Chris and Adam Rupp, Matt Atwood, Darren Scruggs, and Dan Lemke. They took their name from a boat owned by Atwood's grandfather who helped support the group financially in their early years.The group began as a hobby for the singers, but they gradually grew in experience and popularity. By 2007 they had enough of a following to pursue music full-time. During this period, the Rupp brothers and Atwood formed the core of the group, with Atwood singing lead tenor. Other members of the group came and went. Current member Rob Lundquist, another Minnesotan, joined in 2008. Now you know the rest of the story. Enjoy their music....

There whole catalog of songs is top notch but I agree with When A Man Loves a Woman, and also would like Butts Remix, One Man Band, The list is really long because all of their songs are wonderful. One thing I would like to say while I have the chance: You're going to have a ton of amazing videos/songs suggested for you (and I hope you cover as many of them as you possibly can), but I'm pretty sure you're going to have a bunch of people suggesting Mayday right out of the gate. I just want to ask you to hold off on it until you know the band better and have enough videos under your belt to have a better idea of who they are and what they do. THEN do it. Trust me! And for the record: The first "this guy" who does the verses is Rob Lundquist, their lead tenor. The guy coming in for the chorus is Austin Brown, their high tenor. The bass doing the bridge (soo-oooh-oooh lonely) is Tim Foust. Their beatboxer who makes you forget the percussion is vocal is Adam Rupp. The smooth baritone laying down a lot of the foundation (with the short dark beard) is Adam Chance. Once you get into more of their songs if you feel like branching out (which I'd love to see!), Tim, Austin and Chance are all putting out solo stuff these days alongside the Home Free stuff, so feel free to dive in.

Justice is what they did for this song! RESPECT! "BUTTS MEDLEY" is a must, a mashup of like 7 songs including various genera including country, rap, R&B, hip hop, rock. Of course it's about the booty! Very funny but done on point and very good!

They are just as good live! Don't worry too much about what you listen to next, just know that they have close to 200 videos on You Tube, and there isn't a bad song in the mix, whether it's a cover or an original! I can't get enough of them, and you probably will be the same way, just judging from your first two reactions. One of their covers I like is "Leave This Town". Consider that one as recommended, and any other song that they do.
