I know you all probably won't get to read this but I just want you to know what a bright spot your music has been for my husband and I during the last several months during this crazy time in the world. My husband is very ill with heart failure and eventually will need a heart transplant. We found your channel just before the pandemic and my husband especially enjoys you videos. Home Free, who knew when I was searching for leadership and understanding during this crisis, that I would find it in five guys singing acapella. This one is a killer, as well as your "God Bless the USA" produced in a similar inclusive manner. Wish it could be as the song states, but too much has happened. I've seen it with my own eyes, where they tried to come into our little community and wreck havoc and destroy everything in their path. However, they seem to forget little rural towns are heavily armed, and they didn't count on the patriots who ran them out of town. There is nothing similar, nor do I have anything in common with those that are killing innocent children, looting and destroying.

Nihilists believe that nothing has any intrinsic meaning, and we *cannot* create meaning ourselves. This can then be used to justify any and all manner of horrible things, like murder or rape, for personal pleasure. Existentialists also believe nothing has any intrinsic meaning, BUT they believe we *can* create our own meaning. @@nadivkaspi6211 nihilism itself isn't a reprehensible philosophy. like you said, the core of it is that nothing has meaning, and we cannot create that meaning. by itself, it's neutral. it's a lot of reprehensible people who use this concept of "no meaning" to act as if it's okay to do anything they like because "it doesn't matter anyway". it's the same concept of how most religions at their core have a philosophy of "good actions have good consequences, bad actions have bad consequences, so do good things and not bad things". but a lot of people take it upon themselves to determine what is bad and good and use it to justify their own bad actions. what happens in these two examples are exactly the same - the fundamental philosophy of these means of thinking get polluted and corrupted by human desire or human interest, and are thus used as justifications or frames of mind to commit atrocities without having to reflect on their own moral cores and consciences.

I LOVE this video....my family has whites, blacks, native americans, asians, and various religions. I LOVE that my family is inclusive and I love it when others promote inclusiveness and diversity. Kay the problem is the word r*****t has changed to hit a narrative .... disagreement to a persons views if you do not represent a certain side automatically puts you in that category. Never mind changing words but finding out why the school system is failing and turning out all these people expecting handouts not handups. Where I am from Article 1 in our constitution is "Human dignity is inviolable" I am from Germany and we sadly have our history with racism and anti-Semitism :( BUT We learned from it! Off course We have the freedom of speech, until a certain degree. It stops when racism or anti-Semitism are preached or used by a political party. Sign from the WW2 are forbidden aswell. For me personal there are only two kinds of people - good or bad - no matter their colour or relegion!!!

This song wasnt needed. What is needed is a good swift kick in the pants to every racist turd walking around, no matter the color of their skin. We are better than this and we let a few bad cops, who will go to prison for their crimes, and the media with their fear and hate mongering, race baiting, b.s. stories, divide us even further than what they had. Just as we were starting to come together during this pandemic and help each other out, here comes the media to screw it up and throw fuel into a fire that was on it's way out.

I wish I could blare this song at anyone that is being divisive and disrespectful. Encountered a couple horrible humans today. I'm trying to work from a place of love. Trying to understand they may be coming from traumatic circumstances and, as a result, letting their fear rule so they can protect themselves but, today, today was a bridge too far.
