Adam Rupp is the beatboxer. Adam Chance, the 'new' bass singer, he goes by Chance. People are just.... I'm a Christian, a Baptist. I thought it was hilarious when you called Austin, Jesus. You keep being you. I love your reactions.
People are so miserable. I thought it was funny when you called Austin-Jesus. Tim subbass at first ( five octave range ) you should check out Chance ( other Adam) I Can’t Outrun You
There's a video of a sound check where Austin is doing a couple of Growl Notes (clearly Uncle Tim has been teaching) and it's pretty funny and impressive.
You had the names right. The guy that surprised you with the bass was Chance. So, they have 2 bonafide basses and 5 guys that can sing in tenor range! I love that I never know what is going to come out of their mouths. They are so versatile in covering parts! Tim didn't sing ANY bass in this song. It's all Chance! Also, this is originally sung by a woman and Home Free performed it in the same key as Cam. Loved your reaction as usual! Looking forward to your journey through the Home Free rabbit hole!
@@milomurphy9178 okay, but Hone Free has previously listed Chance's first name as Adam, as in their "two Adams". First name Adam middle name Chance...you protested my comment, Maury, but you never mentioned his actual last name. I don't understand the fuss...Home Free is awesome no matter how you look at it. If you have a complaint, please clarify. And have a wonderful day!
@@katthill7506 I'm not sure who Maury is, but the group has Adam Rupp the beatboxer and Adam Chance the baritone. I have no idea what his middle name is, but they call him Chance just to keep the 2 Adam's straight. Hope you're having a great day.
@@chrismorin1318 Chance's middle name is Chance. His last name is actually Ray, though he dropped it from his stage name. If you go watch the video where they sang the national anthem for the Vikings and all got jerseys, you'll see his says "Ray" on the back. For purposes of keeping the two Adams straight, Adam Rupp is just Adam and Adam Chance is just Chance. Adam Rupp has dibs on the name since he has 16 years seniority.
My God that's the guy who's voice is so deep it blows my mind!! What is this dudes range? "Man of constant sorrow" will show you his deep, deep base!! They use no instruments, everything is done by their mouths or whatever, but no instruments!! Top 5 songs I've ever heard in my 68 years!! Listen too man of constant sorrow!!
Loved the look on your face when you realized Tim was singing tenor! Gotta love that 5+ octave range! Then Chance hitting that impressive low note, folks forget he WAS the bass in his last group and does baritone bass now. His range is close to Tim's so they get you coming and going
I remember when you said Jesus was singing , I laughed so hard I spit my drink out all over my chair and my floor. My drink went out my nose. It was hilarious. If someone unsubscribed for that, you didn't need them anyway
This is Home Free gold! Love how they change it up with Tim going high and Chance taking bass! Love your reactions fellow Fry! Good job with the names, Adam Chance goes by Chance to not be confusing.
lol yest that is Tim the bass singing at the beginning, followed by Austin 'Jesus' Brown. Don't worry about the people that say dumb stuff. Christian here too, and commenting that someone looks like your internal vision of Jesus is not disrespectful. That's up there with saying it is disrespectful to name your child Jesus. Home Free is amazing and so are you! Lovely voice too!
Home Free appreciate reactors so do not be surprised when you receive a comment from anyone of them. They are just original guys with no egos. They love to sing and perform for their Home Fries. Yes, Adam beatboxing is rocking. Just loved your shocking reaction to the change of bass singer. Yes, their are two Adams, one named Chance basses when Tim is singing tenor.
No, you were right with the names. It’s Adam Chance but because the beatboxer is also Adam, we call the second Adam by his middle name Chance. Chance is a baritone/bass and fills in on bass when Tim goes high. What’s amazing to us is how high Tim (bass) can go. He’s showing off his 5 octave range for ya. So in the back l-r is Adam (beatboxer) and Chance (baritone). Front row l-r is Rob (glasses) tenor. Tim (bass). He has long hair but recently cut it in the newer videos. Austin (redhead) is the high tenor. If you’d like to hear more from Austin try their new release Crazy - the old Patsy Cline song. It’s wonderful. Good reaction.
"..."cause they just that good." I agree. I am in awe of Tim - a basso profundo - starting this off by singing tenor. Every one of these men is an amazing artist, and together they're unmatched, On a personal note, I have to say that I love your smile. Lots of folks get their gaps closed. Very few (like Anna Paquin) choose to keep them. You rock yours. It's a great smile.
That's why I love to watch Patrol Gaming, Pat never holds his awe, Whuuut? or any feelings back, he's a qutie :) And that is why I watch this channel to :)
Might help Adam Chance is called Chance, the beatboxer Adam Rupp was a founder of the group with his brother,. Yea Chance carries the bass line whén Tim busy.
Fries have called both Austin and Tim Jesus for years, and Tim had been called the Lord on occasion too. Don't let those who can't have fun and joke bother you. This arrangement is genius, and when you know these guys' normal roles in the band it becomes even more so. Say what? The bass is singing (high) tenor and the baritone is singing bass, and (almost) everybody's wailing up close to falsetto. Add to that the bass line and the beats. One of my all-time Home Free favourites. The "other" Adam, Mr Bass drop in this song, is Adam Chance, but he goes by Chance only so not to confuse everyone with the first Adam, Adam Rupp, the Beatboxer. It might be time for you to also react to one of Austin's solo songs!! Thanks for another fun reaction!
Chance was the bass for another acapella group before joining HF. He usually sings baritone, but covers the bass for Tim when he's singing lead. As he demonstrated here, he definitely has the chops for the bass line.
Chance’s group was Street Corner Symphony, love it that Chance is wearing the t-shirt from his old group on Try Everything the first song he does with Home Free. Definitely should react to Try Everything 😊
The most amazing thing is the versatility of the individual vocalists. Tim (who starts out the song in tenor) is actually a basso profundo. Chase (who holds down the bass line in this song) is actually a baritone.
Oh, young man you finally got to this song! yea lol Love this cover and the vocals are crazy. The counter vocals at the end are amazing! The original by Cam is worth a listen to she wrote this song and her version is great on the ears as well! Love your reactions keep up the great work. Love to you always and stay safe.
I don't know the original version of this song either but this has become one of my favourite Home Free songs, maybe because they shook up the roles everyone plays and so the sound is slightly more airy (is that a word?!🤪) . I also love their version of In the blood and Can't stop the feeling which are both beyond amazing Folsum City blues is great too.
I had never heard this song before Home Free covered it, either! But it is now one of my favorites of theirs. And I have to tell you that you have a really awesome singing voice yourself! I have to laugh because there are MANY RU-vid reactors who have the word "Singer" in their channel title, but they either NEVER sing, or when they try to sing along a little bit - it's pretty awful! But your voice is truly beautiful! Thanks for the reaction! Also, Home Free has gotten more socially active in recent years due to the current political and social division in this country. They "preach" a platform of unity and respect. You might want to react to something a little different from them called, "Everybody Walkin' This Land".
YOU have a beautiful voice too! That's Adam Chance (they call him "Chance" so they'll know which "Adam" they mean) who was previously the bass singer for "Street Corner Symphony" but when Chris Rupp left, he replaced himself with Adam Chance as baritone/bass. I've watched this video & reactions to it probably 100 times & I could watch it 1000 more & never get tired of it! This is one of my many Home Free favorites, but the sound in this & others are so FULL. They sound like a choir backed by an orchestra so I have to stop & remember that it's only five members' voices! They're amazing!
I love how you get them. Aside from everything else that’s right with them, here is something that really shines. They’re taking a song that has a very repetitive melody and as each takes their turn, within each one’s solo, they’re making it theirs, they’re not repeating anything about each other’s phrasing, shaping, interpretation. Each one is telling a different story, his own story. I would make a video of this song with them all singing out of an upper story window of an old house, but in three different houses, one for each of the lead singers. Amazing
Chance is bass in this song. It's Adam chance and he goes by chance so we dont confuse them Everyone can sing deep (or it seems they can lol) Everyone can sing high Everyone can beatbox
They've all tried going low just screwing around, but Austin kinda hurt himself doing it so he doesn't play around with it anymore. Or so I've read. Austin's practically a counter-tenor and just doesn't have the physiology to sing low notes.
@@chrisd7047 Neither are Rob, but he can hit som baritone notes. Adam can sing really high (he does it in both "How great thou art" and "I swear", and has a impressive troat bass, but otherwise, he's a (counter?) tenor.
@@hellevirenfeldt3608 Some men can sing very high. Most can use a falsetto to some extent. Techniques can be learned to sing low, as well. But with both high and low, there are limits to each individual voice, and if the right technique and practices aren't used, you can hurt yourself.
I am truly enjoying your reactions to Home Free, so much fun to watch. Yes, we have Adam Rupp the beatboxer and we have Adam Chance the baritone with a 4 octave range, he is usually refered to as Chance to keep from being confused. So all 5 of the guys are capable of singing in the tenor range, does not happen often, but it can, as Tim the bass just proved. He has a 5+ octave range. Their is a fan video here on You Tube of him blowing a speaker at a concert, it is a lot of fun to watch !!!
You mentioned them liking a tweet, keep your eyes open to your comments. I have seen several videos where they leave a comment to reactions. They've even done interviews. Patrol Gaming just did one with Austin (Jesus).
Cam, the song writer, sings beautifully. The guys did this in the same key. One of these days we may see Rob do some opera as he also has that in his background.
Adam Chance(Chance) is actually a bass singer but is a baritone for the group. Tim was singing in a tenor range so Chance took the bass. Great reaction from you as usual.
You're right. His name IS Adam. It's Adam Chance, but he goes by Chance so as to not be confused with the other Adam (Rupp). You are definitely a Home Fry now. BTW...LOVE your shirt in this vid! 😉
They just released a cover of “Crazy” with Austin on lead, *sigh*, I’m crazy for his voice. What’s super cool about this is that it was an original by the female artist Cam, and Home Free covered it in the same key! Same with “Crazy”, and Austin’s cover of “At Last” by Etta James! I love your energy, lovely singing too 😊 And congrats on getting a comment from them! They’re awesome with their reactors, and the quality of your reactions definitely merit some love!
Even after two years your genuine excitement and love for good music gives me great joy. Be at Peace, my friend and Brother. May God prosper and protect you in all things. In Jesus Name.
I love this cover, and your reaction. Every time I hear this song I think "Oh, Home Free decided to flex, y'all thought we were good? Let us show you good!"
I'm so glad you waited to react to this one. They blow this song out of the water. Adam Chance is full of surprises! In fact, all of them are!! Loved your reaction!
I so enjoy your "real" reactions, and what I am about to tell you I HAD to look up cause another reactor had asked when doing Home Free, Adam Rupp, aka da beatboxer, HAS a degree in Music, he also plays drums, Bass Guitar, Piano etc. THE BEARD -- Rob Lundquist I think it is, ALSO has a degree in Music. So it is why many of their songs, one of them arranged or they all had a hand in the arrangement. I just thought these lil bits would help you enjoy them a bit more.
I love waking up to a new Home Free reaction from you! Your energy just starts my day off positive and right, and I so enjoy how much you get into the music. Everyone in that group slayed this song.
There are just days when life just stinks. On those days I like to go back and rewatch some of my favorite reactors, especially in their early days reacting to Home Free! It's fun to binge those videos and watch you get your brain broken and watch you fall in love with the guys and the things they stand for. It makes the hard days and nights a bit easier to bear. I'm so glad that I was here in your group as you've gotten to appreciate and become a true fan and believer in Home Free! Thanks a million and keep up the awesome reactions! ❤
Austin? No, he listened to you and is calling himself Jesus now You have the names down, all you need is to get comfortable with your own knowledge. What this one showed us is that with the addition of (Adam) Chance they can hold down a double bass line. So, this five member group has five tenors, two bassists, five beat boxers (see 9 to 5 live), two or up to 5 baritones, they can almost just swap positions at will. With all of that range they still manage to have one of the richest bassists (Tim), one of the best beat boxers (Adam), a buttery smooth and soulful tenor (Rob), a power high tenor that can bring what ever flavor you want to the table (Austin), and a silky harmonic low baritone (Chance).
This is one of my favorites...it always throws everyone off when Chance comes in with his bass LOLOL. He was the bass in his last gig with Street Corner Symphony....but with Tim in Home Free Chance is the baritone, but he holds the bassline when Tim gets a chance to go higher, as in this song. Check out their cover of Down to the Honkytonk & you get to hear both Tim & Chance go really low, also in Some Girls Do.
There are always curmudgeons & trolls. Ignore them. You hit the nail on the head, the range of each of these guys makes you do a double take. Good reaction.
You are clearly musical, so I enjoy your reactions a lot. You point out interesting things, plus, you have a lyrical and melodious voice yourself and you catch on quickly to runs and riffs that take me many listenings to master. But, most compelling about your reactions is your sheer appreciation for musical talent. Thank you for doing so much Home Free.
Great reaction man, great that Home Free reckanize!!! Yeah incredible versatility in this group, beginning with subsonic Tim who took off on TENOR?!?! Seriously.... All these guys are so good and you also notice that don't try to outdo each other, they are a true ensemble and as a result they're far greater together than the sum of their parts; almost like God intended it that way?! 🤔 Much love brother, love your channel.
I KNOW that I am not the only one that sit here and stared at the screen, waiting for the reaction to Chance's (the other Adam) surprise, SO worth the wait for those facial expressions.
I was going to sleep after this reaction but you get so hyped up, you get me all hyped up too…lol, sooo, yep listening to more music after this. Ty for another great reaction ❤you truly are the best
I'm following ya down that hole! It's Sooo nice to find a reactionary video poster who KNOWS what he's talking about! Digging it!!! They're Awesome... so are you!
Thank you for reacting to this song. You get to see what the guys can do, with the bass man Tim can go high tenor and (Adam) Chance can take his baritone high and low is amazing. Then Austin's high tenor and Rob's tenor, just makes a terrific group of singers. Of course, not to leave out Adam Rupp with his beatboxing can also sing, just prefers the beatboxing. I noticed you also have a nice voice. You might want to check out...Can't Stop The Feeling...fun song...Crazy...new song just out...already suggested is...Chance singing...Can't Outrun You...really good. Thanks again.
