Yeah it’s like they woke up and Tim said hey I think I’ll be a tenor today. Chance said cool I’ll be bass. Chance was the bass with his last group

I laughed out loud when she said "I just love how everyone is perfectly in their register" early on in the video. The expression watching Chance after the bridge was priceless. Gotcha!

When Tim shows up for work, they ask him... "What will it be today, Alto, Tenor, Baritone, Bass or Basso Profundo?" They have to ask because he can do them all.

And that's one of the great things about this group. Tim is considered the bass voice overall, but he's not stuck in that slot. Great talent x5 meshed together wonderfully!

Brown, Chance, Foust, and Lundquist all have wide enough ranges to sing any of the four men's parts.

@@roberthudson1959 , Adam also has a beautiful voice. You can hear him adding background vocals in some of the songs where he isn't beat boxing. Even in In the Blood, where he is doing all body percussion, he adds to the vocals.

Rob's greatest performance to date. He's a bit vanilla most of the time - great voice, but not stand-out in a group of this calibre. But in End of the Road he was the star performer.

I know everyone's voice here is simply fantastic but Adam Rupp is the absolute heart of this group. He's just perfect and his ability to offer up virtually any sound is amazing. And Tim, "Oh I feel like singing up there with Rob and Austin today Foust" Good Grief!

Absolutely! A few weeks after I became a Home Fry, I subscribed to Chris Rupp’s channel, and watched his behind the scenes commentary videos of older Home Free arrangements. Adam Rupp percussion and harmonies are stunning. My journey as a new Home Fry has been an incredible journey.

Yep, Tim have a really wide Range (A5 - C0), he often alternate with Chance between Bass and Baritone/Tenor parts. At the end of his solo Chance hit a Chest B1!

Can we take a moment to appreciate the way this song was arraigned? It's totally different than the original, yet somehow completely recognizable. In particular the "I'm not in love, I don't want to tell you" bridge harmonies with Tim and Rob....very catchy, such a great hook....and of course, so clean it seems like one voice. Just an amazing cover (to be honest, I hadn't heard the original before I heard this version...and I like this one better).

They are fabulous as a group and as individuals, In my opinion no one else compares or even comes close to the level of Home Free. I like the fact that this gave Chance the opportunity to show what he can do, he has a range of over 4 octaves.

Dear Schnell, that is Adam (Chance) that did the Bass. You have to know that just like Dimash having a 7 octave range, Tim has a 5 octave range. To hear the usual but even lower from Tim PLEASE react to Your Man Crazy Life Tour version. In that version Tim actually does some comedy then ends with rattling the speakers, especially at the very end. It is hard to answer your question because I don't handle flying very well but I also don't eat out very much because I LOVE to cook and bake. 🎶👱‍♀️👗👠👠💓

Adam Chace is actually what is called a Basso Baritone. Tim also avi Kaplan have been helping him get lower!!

yes Schnell !! They are true professionals and are very musically versatile. Many folks dismiss them as "those country bumpkin singers" and never give them a fair shot. I appreciate you still exploring their music library. Have you reacted to their original song "Dive Bar Saints" don't worry about the title, it's a good chill type song !

If you want to hear more of Rob, check out "Take Me Home Country Roads" or "End of the Road" (especially "End of the "Road"). He's great in both of those.

Chance was the Bass in a group competing with Home Free and now he's in Home Free. Chance isn't a deep as Tim but he can still go down into that Bass level when Tim is doing something else, especially during live shows.

Hi, yes that was a very nice surprise their change of roles, at the moment this is one of my favourite, guess what? they made something new with Peter Hollens and they have 350 more people singing with them "I'm still haven't found what I'm looking for", I can imagine what should have been the mixing of all those voices but that's Peter. By the way Geoff(Jeff) Castellucci coverd "Blackbird" (Beatles) you'll be surprise as well. Stay safe

The fill from CHRIS leaving (Rupp, Adam Rupp's Brother) required a low tenor or baritone - WHICH JUST LIKE TIM .... you get all three with new Member Adam Chance including tenor 1 ! Frees up Tim and his range to sing more conventional leads in an upper register !

This is beautiful isn’t it?! So much fun to see Tim use some of that 5 octave range of his and (Adam) Chance use his 4 octave range with his bass. Loved your reaction! If you want to hear bass try listening to I Can’t Outrun You with Chance taking the lead. It’s a beautiful song. Shnell, I loved your reactions to Tim and Chance, especially! They are both versatile and switch often. Home Free never disappoints! They take a cover, make it their own without changing the integrity of the original. They are really great with fusions, as well! One of my favorites is “Woman, Amen/Female”. The only difference between the original for “Female” is the tempo. It’s an awesome cover for both! The transitions are flawless!

ive heard this cover on spotify, genuinely didnt realize tim was the one opening in the song. i know his range is insane and its crazy how different the bases all sound at their different registers. like Tim, Geoff, and Avi are the most insane acapella bases out there right now, they all have insane ranges. and holy shit, i didnt know tim flipped roles the whole song, that other dude how is doing base in here also has real good range.

It's in the same key as the original one with the woman. The stomp in the beginning was a spot on choice. The clap is a voice effect and is awesome.

They have some Amazing songs to listen to, since it is Christmas time I would love to see your reaction to their amazing "Do You Hear What I Hear" arranged by the beatboxer Adam Rupp. or "Full of Cheer" an original by Tim Foust. This is one of the only Home Free songs that I really enjoy. I could care less about a singer's vocal range. I think many of the performers today try too hard to impress with vocal gymnastics. Great reaction Schnell...:-) BTW...Unlimited International Travel (without the Coronavirus restrictions) is a dream of mine...:-)

I love seeing various members get to flex their abilities, like Chance's great bass. His voice timbre is different from Tim, just like Rob sings tenor differently than Austin.

The guys of Home Free have said that who sings what depends on who sounds best on that, sometime by having all of them try singing it, because they all have a wide range.
