So sorry to hear about your step mom’s passing. Hope all goes well with the trip to Tennessee. The retreat sounds like it was a blast.

Hi Debbie! Glad you enjoyed the retreat! It has been a few weeks since I have been on here. I fell in our driveway and broke my right foot and injured my left knee. I am getting better now. It is not any fun getting older! So sorry for the loss of your stepmother. Take care and I will be back on here!💕

Sorry about you step mom. Like you, I find comfort in the thought that my loved ones are together, even though they are not here with me anymore.

Hi Debbie, you cracked me up with the story of your husband and the toaster. Reminded me of the time my brother-in-law had to heat up his dinner when my sister was away. She had left instructions, but he called me to see why the red light was on. I told him that meant it was preheating and to wait for it to go out before putting his food in the oven. It was so funny. 🤣😂 Glad you had a nice time at the retreat and I would love to see a video of your swag bag and any other goodies you’d like to share. ❤

I’m so glad you had a wonderful time at the retreat! The hot tub story is scary! On another note, I’m still laughing about Dave and the toaster oven! I think I would’ve left my bags in the garage, too! Too scary about the bus driver. It's a good thing you were there. I believe you saved everyone from a bad accident! You definitely did the right thing. I'm glad you’re okay. I’m glad Madi came home for your family service. ❤

Debbie, ty sooo much for sharing how fun (and exhausting ❤) the retreat was...Glad you had a blast & got home safely! And I laughed out loud about the toast...hubby's are a trip for sure...lol...but gotta love 'em! I am attending my first dp retreat in Virginia in July 2025! I'm so excited, but have to wait a whole year lol...ugh! 😂 My hubby is driving me down there from Maine bec. we have not found any retreats in New England yet! Anyway...love your wip & chats! Get some rest!🎉

Hi Debbie, good evening from Southern California. The retreat sounded like fun. Despite being very talkative I am painfully shy. I went, today, to the Orthopedic. He asked me how I got injured. I told what happened and the doctor replied "I heard from the hospital that the man in your life beat you up. I told him, the only male in my house is 10 year old Doxie-Beagle Herschel. Doctor took several X-rays. He told me I have very severe Arthritis in the lumbar area of my back. He said the Arthritis got worse everytime I injured my back. The doctor also said my knees very traumatized. So, he scheduled me for PT starting July 10th. Good. I need PT. I am still working on Golden Cocker Spaniel. I don't notice any specialty drills in the dog itself. I will look again. I am not doing much these days. Tonight there was a large flash of light. Lite up the living and dining area, plus the kitchen. No sound afterwards. So, I think I saw the Nova which took 3000 years for the light to reach us. I saw another light, but the sound of the firecracker came a few seconds after the flash of light. I am taking a friend out for her birthday on Saturday. Her birthday is actually Sunday. We are going to the Old Spaghetti Factory in Fullerton. Fullerton is about 35 miles east-north from where I live. I went CalState Fullerton to get my BS degree. I graduated 40 years ago June. I am also watching the History Channel, A&E, and ID. My caregiver Sylvia and her husband leave 2morrow evening on British Airlines to Spain. They are taking a cruise of the Mediterranean. Please keep thoughts and prayers for them. Thank you

Oh Debbie, your story about the toaster had me LOL. Reminds me of a friend of mine , a gourmet cook, who says she doesn't know how to make sweet tea! We live in Memphis - sweet tea is a necessity!

I was looking forward to hearing about your trip. It sounds like you really diamond painted a lot. It also sounded like you had a lot of adventures. I was laughing about your husband not knowing how to use a toaster. My son-in-law couldn't make Ramen noodles and thought that was hard. But your story tops mine. I hope all can be well with you and your family.
