Maybe try the black plastic to keep your weeds at bay. You put down the plastic after tilling then you just poke holes in the plastic where you want to have ypur plants come up. It keep the soil warm as well. When your crops are done you dig up the platic. Im sure you would be able to find that at an agricultural store.
Actually I was looking at that, I have a screenshot saved on my phone. I'm pretty cheap though and the garden is quite big. I see fields all over full of crops and no weeds but they must be spraying.
The peach tree needs some type of coverage ... i had one but only got 1yr of peaches then it went dry. For your apple tree with the holes in it... thats the wasp I spoke of last yr. It lays it's eggs in the blossoms and when the wasp is ready to hatch it boars a hole to get out of the apple. Might want to trim back the branches on the bottom.. those are called sucker branches. Migh want to look at getting some apple tree spikes. Grapes need to be trimmed back to 3 main shoots.. strawberries can still be eaten by mice, chipmunks and squirrels. Always try to plant 2 seeds per hole incase one doesnt take. The worms are catapiller worms. I used javex on my moms tree.. sprayed the nest.. let it sit on it for a few mins the rinsed with the hose really well and also watered the ground where the javex landed. No need to cut branches. Sometimes having to much compost can have reversed effect. Weeds will definitely take all the nutrients from everything you planted. Sorry for the long comment. I was writting it while I was watching your video. I still have carrots and turnips in my garden.. not ready to pull out. Lol
Haha long comments are good. There is so much to know and try to remember. I only picked my potatoes in almost December last year. I don't know how I could cover that peach tree, it's 9' tall already. This was the worst year for weeds with all the rain we got.
