Little Mobutu just died of thirst in the middle of nowhere after watching his family get slaughterd by a bunch of drugged up kids with guns. But hey.... this song though!
this reminds me of when i was a kid traveling through the city at night watching the skyscrapers go by, the windows lit and a dark endless sky stretching forever.
when i smoke a good joint and i listen to this, i don,t only get high, i get high and high and high and high again, i escape earth's gravitational pull and fly towars the stars
Chorus Can I have you close to me? Have you feel, not lonely, And back to timeless carefree times And shield you, be safety Hold your hand in every storm In this cold world filled with sin My love can keep you warm No you won't feel down again Can I have you close to me? Have you feel, not lonely, And back to timeless carefree times And shield you, be safety You are not without a fight Can I be your company This is another life Yet you still can harm me This is another life Yet you still can harm me I wish to just do right And be not, armani This is another life Yet you still can harm me I wish to just do right And be not, armani
@@riftsalty7562 home is the artist lol. He is saying resonance by home is good song but this is also a good song by home as well just underrated and I 100% agree with it
@@expandingflan6001 - I agree. I think it's because I've listened to Resonance too much. I'm going to try to stop listening to it for a few years, then come back, and the nostalgia will really hit hard
I wanna learn more about home. His music fr evokes some pretty strong emotion in me, and it makes me wanna learn more about who he is and what he does BC it's incredible
search home resonance there's a video on how its nostalgic or monochrome effect works. its also cool that it takes some synth patterns from 80's - 90's songs
This part would not be this amazing without the part before it. Its just something like "you play an amazing song and the next part of gets even better"
Honstly the whole part since 1:39 is something out of this world. And at 2:08 this song gets the best, this is the part when if I listen to it while being somewhere outside at evening or at night and the part at 2:08 starts and even when I dont think about the song im listening to, at that moment i just always realise "wow, this is one of the most beautiful songs ive ever heard" and I feel like this is the happiest moment of my life, no thinking about anything, no worries, just now, me, the beautiful scenery I see, the sun setting, and this beautiful song (and maybe a beer haha). Moments like this make me feel like im at the happiest moment of my life, even when im not doing anything special. Good music makes a random time and a random place feel really special. I would not love to go on bike travels that much if it was without listening to music. Oh my god, I love music so much
So i'm a kid from the 2000's, but hearing this song is, somehow, reminding times from 90's or 80's, times I've never lived in. And it's such a good emotion to feel ...
Can I meet someone who’s like me, who feels nostalgia from a time I never lived, who listens to these songs and feels happiness from them. Wouldn’t that be great.
Take Care (by Home) (which currently only has 23k views on youtube) (the thumbnail is the colorful one), and 'At Eternity's Gate' another song by HOME, on RU-vid, which only has 789 views, (the thumbnail one with the purple circle thing) are extremely amazing underrated yet complete eargasms
This was in a EP released by HOME himself Resonance came in a album published by a label and also got vinyl which made it more popular and most the songs in Odyssey are very good in my option only good song in Hold is Hold
Awesome for when your just cruising down the road at night in the country with your headphones in with your motorcycle helmet visor up and the wind hitting your face and you just think to you self this is the life
and then a bug smacks your face, the earphones fall out of your ears, you realise you went the wrong way and then get hit by a car, you wake up in hospital, your bike is rip but your okay, you go home sit on a couch and then realises...fuck I got to pay for that bike.
There is almost a melancholy feeling to this song. Almost like you should Hold onto the things that are really important. Hold on tight to those things you really care about, don't take things for granted.
I'm sure you figured this out by now, but this is just the Auto Pan feature in ableton. And for everything else: Just assign an LFO to the pan knob in your daw.
What if the reason we feel nostalgic is because we're in a VR and were being hinted to the fact that this isn't reality? It's just a simulation, and we need to wake up to what's calling us. Ok now I'm gonna go write a book.
Adrian Barnes you are completely right, this world is just a container for us to learn through experience. And once we wake up it will all seem like a distant dream :)
You know I was thinking the same thing. Maybe when we die we take off a VR headset and we see a huge room filled with more people. And what their experiencing is an imaginary life, sort of like a game "the game of life." Yah I know it sounds like I'm on an acid trip, and I honestly think music like this is the only thing that makes me shed a tear, but just think about it...
5 years in and I'm still hooked on Synthwave. Such an awesome genre. It captures 80s feel and mixes it with the experience that I get when I sit on the beach sand on a warm summer's evening. Songs like this capture that warmth, makes me feel relaxed and hopeful. Love it, especially when I'm driving. May not be an 80s kid, but damn I'm happy I had a chance to experience the next best thing.
Laying in bed, headphones up. looking up at the stars. Many stars. Billions. Drifting off... a city, a beautiful neon city, the lights stretch high. A utopia. total Nirvana.
Step by step process of how to travel to another universe: A: Get a led light or two that can change colours, B: Wait to till you're tired, C: Get a drink or something to enjoy, D: Turn on music,
REQUIRMENTS FOR THIS SONG: headphones or speakers, loop it, tell your friends about it and NO criticism for the creator HOME. With all these requirments you should be able to have a good time and feel young again.
Plz don't tell me I'm the only one who's gonna cry hearing this Edit: after 3 years this song brings me back to 2019. It feels just as nostalgic as the first time I've heard this song. 8/19/2024
