Home made WMO WVO waste motor vegetable pressure cooker centrifuge DIY #4 

Thanks for your comments. The bowl is a Raw Power centrifuge PoBoy Kit. Looks like it is currently on sale for $200. My kit was made with a Mirro pressure cooker. Sorry I don't remember the model or size but it was one of the biggest ones. I used a flange from Mcmaster Carr p/n 1764K25. It fit in the bottom of my pressure cooker to separate the good/bad oil. I sealed it with RTV silicone. I then added a bearing inside the centrifuge to support the motor shaft. It was a 2-1/2" square by 1/4" thick piece of aluminum with a bearing mounted in it. This was sealed to the bottom with RTV silicone to prevent oil from leaking down the motor shaft. Hi, looks like you were ahead of the curve with the centrifuge 8 years ago! I am looking for a budget way into centrifuging WMO and amazingly bought a ancient Tefal pressure cooker at the recycle thinking it would make a great vessel! Did you carry on using this setup I wonder? I'm looking for a second hand centrifuge bowl to continue my project but may end up using something like a steamer base pan with a lip welded on... Love more details of yours, like moter spec etc? Cheers!
