I can attest to this. Besides this place, there was a great Greek diner in Asheville serving both Greek and American food. It was called The Five Points (at a five-way intersection), and the food was excellent and cheap.

This is exactly how I fry my hot dogs at home. Oscar meyer half smoked sausage. Mustard, chili, and onions. So darn good.

If I was young again, I would start a real hot dog stand with foot long wieners made from pork only. Just Long bun, wiener, chili, and onions and cheese optional. Sell for only 50% over cost. I couldn't handle all the business. Hard to get cheap good foot long pork wieners anymore without paying an arm and a leg. I bought a regular size for $.15 cents and the foot long was $.35 cents. The good old days.

When I met my husband 35 years ago he ate mayo on hotdogs!!! I’ve never seen it before or since. I like mine with chili, slaw mustard.
