Eh, I thought Slim was taken too seriously myself, the movie in general wasn’t that bad though. *better than Chicken Little, Er, I mean, Rise Of Skywalker... GAH!*
This movie wasn’t really as bad as people made it Out to be. Was it weak on some Points? Def. but not bad. Actually entertaining and I loved the songs. Slim is also super underrated as a villain. And I’m not at all shy to say that a movie I use to love as a kid was bad.

I suspect he's deeply insecure because of how people treated his yodelling, it's quite understandable honestly, I'm a marvelous film critic and I rarely ever get the recognition I deserve and it leads to me feeling immensely bitter and insecure about my talent, I wouldn't go as far as slim but I do understand his hidden sorrow

In Slim's defense, yodeling definitely is an art. You have to do a lot of training to be any good at it, and even really talented singers can't always do it.

So... Patch of Heaven, The farm that is in danger of being sold away to the cow's owner, is shaped like the head of Slim's nephews and he didn't notice that was there until now because one of his nephews always sits on that exact spot, unintentionally covering the last piece of land he needs to buy for his glorious Monopoly. This scene will have been funny if it weren't for that plot point. Edit: Okay, I take back everything I just said about not being funny if it because of that plot point because later on, Slim justifiably gets pissed by one of his nephews for covering it up all the time.
When ever someone says that yodel-adle-eedke-idle-oo is their favorite villain song (even though I probably shouldn't scare that person off, because this movie needs all the fans it can get)
I love this movie. I usually take account that many movies that I like are still bad but this ? It's not bad, it's just not a masterpiece. Also, maybe that's just because I'm French but I feel like the French dub had more energy to it, especially regarding Slim. To be fair, they hired a very talented and recognized voice actor to play as him and he didn't disappoint.
