The overture starts
Echos of conversations past ring in harmony
It is time to start the day.
Let us embrace
The sun and trees with open arms as
We dance and celebrate
Life; together once more
A light, a door,
A family.
Assisting us are the sounds of friends
And family alike,
In the chorus of excitement and cheers
This piece larger than any of us
Fills the void between me and them,
As I charter the end of my journey
We stand once more to face the day.
Through trials and tribulations we guard one another
Pushing to the precipice as the collective
How daring is the face of uncertainty,
Yet how we ignore its facade
And as one we march forth as a fortress,
Striking with synchronous passion
Alike with instruments clashing
To achieve a moment we will together share;
A moment together, once more.
A season in 7 minutes and 40 seconds;
Oh where did the minutes go?
Through the doors the lights glare
And they shine on a moment
We will forever share.
