Yeah, but we need to accept that we can't go back. I think about the past a lot as well. Im only 17 and most of my childhood memories are a blur now. I feel like I accidentally pressed the skip button in life. My childhood feels like it was so long ago but it feels recent at the same time. Theres moments where I remember something that was long forgotten. and It give nostalgia, but it also makes me sad. But I just try to keep going.
This reminds me of summer 2021 swinging at my favorite park at 840 watching the sun set. Wasn’t great point in life but certainly better than the 2 following winters, hate winter so much but I know what’s on the other side and when I achieve my ultimate victory in life I will come back to this to look back

When you are so attached to the nostalgia and old memories, all you want to do is cry because you can't have it anymore. If anybody sees this comment, i want to say this year 2023 i had my last summer holidays while being in school. I listened to this song every day and now the holidays are memories. Its kinda sad for me but this song gives me so much chill. :)

This song feels like 2013 youtube and I am watching Pewdiepie on my Ipad all day and Smosh. GOD I miss my childhood, now I feel that I lost that child spirit in me and its kind of hard to move on from because youtube really helped me through a lot of things and helped me shape my love for video games from watching Pewdiepie play amnesia or spooky games in general, Minecraft lets plays or the biggest one that sticks out to me is watching Pewdiepie playing The last of us then playing months later and absolutely loving the crap out of the game also crying to Lee's in the walking dead telltale series. I miss the feeling of not having to worry about anything and sitting in a cozy house playing any video game I had on the ps3 at the time. All good times must come to end but recently I have come back to love video games, anime, movies and comic books, I know it doesn't sound all bad but something feels missing in the midst of all of it and it is hard to shake that feeling honestly. I hope everyone will cherish all the memories they have this year bad or good, everything has a lesson attached and everything happens for a reason, experience is the best thing you could ever have. Wow! It's crazy to see how much this song has impacted you! Honestly, it gives me the type of vibe where you have a retro chs filter over your view and it's bright outside, but gray at the same time and the clouds are gloomy and you're driving alone when nobody is around and you're also reflecting on your childhood memories in slow motion.

Two years and three days ago, I drank to excess and threw up with my grandmother by my side; I told her that I had been suicidal. In the the twenty four months that followed, I underwent the greatest transformation of my life. I got a 1550 on my SAT, I went to state for BPA, and most importantly, I found one thing that I’ve done consistently: I go to have dinner with my grandmother every single Sunday to make up for the one I ruined. I am many things; a changed man, a now refined man, but what I pride myself most on is that I am a person capable of change. I need not worry about who I am, as I know that I am both able and willing to take the necessary steps to improve upon myself and progress.

We find nostalgia in feeling. 2020 was a crazy year, and so much as changed already that it makes sense to feel some longing. There are quite a few things I would have done differently myself.
I would reccomend listening to Avicii's "Wake Me Up", you might find some meaning behind it. I am currently in the same situation as you. I am very lost in a vast and open world and I know where to start, but I have no clue where it will end. I feel as though I'm in an endless forested area with no guiding light, but the tools needed to conitnue through it. I have a lot that's crumbling upon me as well and I know for a fact that it's never over for me, neither for you. Finding yourself is difficult. What are your strengths? What do you wish to acomplish in the future? Who are you? A good person with a big heart? Someone that wants to adventure and seek out new things in life? You can do this, I know you can. Just know that no one is alone. You aren't alone. Did you really enjoy speding time with that person? Were they really right for you? Maybe it's a good thing some of your friends are fading away.
